Its been a long time since I have seen a 1970 tractor with that clean of a cab the door was on it the other day after you shown an interest in it they probably took everything off it right away that was spoken for. They said the engine was never destroyed but couldn't sell it whole as it was one of the conditions of the sale now after looking at the pics she sent me the cab is at an angle the drive axles were already gone.

the missing door and the steps behind the front fenders is a big disappointment, but I'm going to go ahead and take it,I guess.this kinda shit is what keeps me broke.

But it's a happy kind of broke. :) Glad you were able to at least rescue something. The next stop looked like it would involve a five gallon can of gas and a butane lighter.

I've done the same thing Mike, it's a good kind of broke though. At least when I save something I can sleep easy knowing it won't return as some cheap Asian crap. Paul

I wonder if these ''F-WITS'' realize that the greater number of good restorable trucks there are, the more parts they could sell! We had a similar time over here in OZ, they crushed everthing to get good money for scrap and now crying because there's nothing too sell! Idiots, my two bob's worth! Mick

Mike, the cab still looks to be in pretty decent shape? worth saving in my humble opinion..................................Mark

It looks solid, hope it all looks that good in person. It will go to good use,the cab on my '69 RL739 is pretty rough and it has the wrong hood,so this was a good purchase for me,but I would have much rather seen it stay whole.
