Mudflaps from the original dealer are a neat touch, take care of those you probably cant get em like that anymore.

That's a very clean sharp looking ride. I had a 92 with an E9. I'd say your idling issue is probably tension on your return spring, like 84 Superdog said. Yours will be a Robert Bosch inline P7100 pump like mine I run an extra return spring on mine one on both sides of the pump. The shaft on your governor should go straight through the pump and have your throttle linkage on the left and mine has an arm for something else on the right side of the pump, im thinking it night be for the hand throttle on an MH, I put a return spring on it too because without it mine wanted to idle too fast too.just don't use too heavy of a spring it'll make it too stiff. the air throttle is nice when it works , pain when it doesn't. when I put my engine from my MH in my Superliner I took the air throttle off and put a cable on it, much easier.

Thanks for all your great responses, I truly hope to meet up with you one day at one of the events. I would like to see if I can get a shop and parts manual for my MH.

Contact your dealer to order a copy of the parts manual. Be prepared, they aren't cheap. I found shop manuals on eBay.

If you contact the Mack Museum, they will send you a bunch of information. It will take some time but be patient. A "nice" $ donation is in order if you ask the Museum for information.
