My Heavy Hauler Brockway

Recommended Posts

Ha ha I remember old South Construction in Saskatchewan had a bunch of Autocars with 220's and 4 x 4 transmissions back in the early 70's. My dad had some of the "new" 237 6 speed maxidynes and they just drove all over those poor Autocars. Nothing but black smoke and no go out of those old 220's. They later actually staged some pulls with 237 six speeds against 350 cummins 13 speeds pulling identical loads of logs and the 237 was a contender. Depended on how well the 350 was setup and shifted.
