What are they teaching you in school? Maybe the engines are just for show and don't run so there is no oil in them, hence no leaks. And in case anybody was wondering, the're (from farthest to nearest) An 8V71N, a 4-71N, a 6V53T, and a 3-53N. I would kill to have that 6V53T.
