The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by the people who vote for a living.

The government can only "give" someone what they first take from another.

What is "Jersey Boys"?

I understand the Budweiser Clydesdales very well. Growing up in St. Louis and 1/2 my relations working at Anheiser-Busch gave me pretty much unlimited access to them when little.

I dont know what that Jersey Boys trailer is all about but it does say its on tour so I am being childish and judging a book by its cover and hope it passes on thru. I saw an advertisement for the Jersey Shore and if that trailer has anything, absolutely anything to do with that show I hope they keep on trucking and pass thru the Big Sky. That is really cool that you got to hang out with at the stables at Anheiser-Busch.

I like the shots with the snow caps. Forecast today shows a high of 100 and 102 for tomorrow.

Looks like a Yellow Brigadier next to the green Western (have fun with that one).

Mrs Dash and I have tickets to see Jersey Boys in Pittsburgh on Sept 22.

Jersey Shore and Jersey Boys are two VERY different things. As said before the Boys is a good show. The Jersey Shore is about a bunch of Ass Hats. I live down at the Jersey Shore and if you went to Seaside (the town they film in) it is pretty much like what you see on TV. I am about 12 miles from there. Every once in a while you catch the film crew in a local restaurant shoot scenes for an up coming episode. Most of the locals stay out of cameras range and don't want to be associated with those fools.

What is a western R? How does it differ from other R's?

The "western" series truck for the most part used straight running frame rails and they did not "splay" out under the cab becomming wider at the front than the rear of the truck. They also used an aluminum grille plate that was solid in the front over the radiator. The "eastern" type trucks used a radiator mounted grill or shutter assembly the did not tilt with the hood. This was not 100%, but mostly through the production runs. The later production "Valueliner" series used was an eastern produced truck with the front aluminum plate that was several pieces where the "western" trucks used this plate as a single piece.

This is my "Western" RL797L, and the grille panel I've spoken of:

it's been hot all right. Had to get in the truck and cool off a while while I was chaining down and tarping today in McKees Rocks. I was thinking about going to the tractor pull in Gladys tomorrow, but it's supposed to be even hotter so I probably won't go.

You could've taken a quick dip in the Ohio. Lots of floatation devices in there if you got tired.
