(Kit Doyle)

MCCLURE, Ill. -- A Perryville, Mo., man was cited by the Illinois State Police for improper lane usage for a one-vehicle crash in which a tractor-trailer overturned this morning.

Cody A. Kiefer, 44, was driving a 1998 Peterbilt truck pulling a trailer when the truck ran off the roadway and overturned on Illinois Route 3, about a quarter-mile south of Duncanville Street in McClure, according to Illinois State Police. The crash happened at 6:01 a.m.

Kiefer wasn't injured, but was cited by police for improper lane usage.

Happened about 10 minutes after I rolled through town the first of many times this morning...got to re-route around it 4 times before they had it cleaned up....adding 13 miles each way every time  Danged petercar drivers and their lazy trucks :tease:

When approaching a 4-way stop, the vehicle with the biggest tires has the right of way!

Looks like those heavy CHEP pallets busted right out of the trailer roof.

Even the trailer tandems were separated from the rest of the trailer....not sure what they used in the manufacturing process, but DUCT TAPE probably would have held better

I see nothing out of the ordinary with that photo.

Please clue me in.

Rob

Hell, I wasn't complainin' about anything out of the ordinary....just gripin' about STILL having my last load of the day on the truck (hoping it don't freeze tonight) because I didn't have time to get to the receiver before they closed the gates due to this danged petercar takin' a nap in the middle of the road and having to re-route around it for half the day... :whistling:

Sooo.... Another Pete that is unsatisfied with only letting it's driver down to return on foot. It's gotta go "full tilt" on a state highway as to expose and reveal it's inferiority construction complex. Poor driver. Never knew what he was getting into. Rob

He was napping in it....He SHOULDDA been driving in it.

Duh.loco.gif

I just chuckle in amusement when they say "police issued a citation for improper lane use...bla bla" when the vehicle in question is pictured rolled over in the lane.

Ever wonder how a blind person knows when to stop wiping?

I only see a Pete assuming it's rightful place and an International 9200, or 9300 series wrecker righting it myself. I suppose my overhanging gut could be pulling on my lower eyelids obscuring my vision though.

When a Mack turns over its because it had to lick its balls. Nothing wrong there
