  1. My '84 Pete came with one out of the factory, people like to deny it, but there it was. It was functional as late as 2010!
  2. Have the militia men and their ilk opened fire on innocent civilians enjoying a night out? Have they strapped bombs to themselves and detonated them, intending to cause the most carnage possible? Have they beheaded officials/journalists on video, or soaked opponents with gasoline and lit them on fire and cheered while men literally burned to death in cages? Have the militia men shot and killed anyone in their own communities, who share the same culture, lifestyle, music? (i.e. Chicago blacks) Do the militia men abandon women they have impregnated in staggering numbers? Commit inordinate levels of crime in comparison to other groups? The answer is a resounding "NO"! I have no opinion about the virtue of the actions of Mormon ranchers in Oregon (Mostly because I don't know if their grievances are legit), the fact that they armed themselves is definitely alarming.... ghosts of Waco? But to compare them to ISIS or the continuing tragedy of blacks in major cities is the LEFT stretching it to fit their inane, ignorant agenda. I'd expect nothing less from "The Guardian" and its radical origin.
  3. I love this site for just this reason... (and many others too)
  4. Did you guys notice my sweet signage? Speed limit sign cut in two, blue magic marker lettering. It was a shoestring operation. Had taper leaf (3 leaf) suspension. Grossing 96k one day, snapped the left spring.... limped her home though! It was a bitch cranking the landing gear that day. (Note the 23 channel Robyn CB liberated from dad's workbench)
  5. Here's two: http://stlouis.craigslist.org/hvo/5300332814.html http://sandiego.craigslist.org/ssd/snw/5364600254.html I assume the cranks are the same between the '65 and the '66??? I had an engine shipped from CA with YRC freight once, it cost me $250!
  6. I agree, that post seems a little suspicious to me.
  7. The 1953 LJ with integral sleeper looks just like a Brockway I liked so much on here... were they the same trucks?
  8. I have a question (See Top pic of blue Mack) This RW1 or WS frame has bolted on it a little 'hook' onto the frame right in front of the spring hanger.... what was that for? My Superliner has one.... (?????)
  9. MY GOD do you have some amazing photos! Now I'll never have to leave the farm to see this place they call "Mack-un-gee" And who is Tackaberry? Unreal equipment there.
  10. When are we getting the G-D pictures!?
  11. Never heard of a Morgan sleeper..
  12. I sold it to James Foltz ... I think he used to be on here too.... He then sold it to his neighbor, don't know if that guy has it or not.
  13. So you'd guys say this baby is really 'turned on'?
  14. 350 t2090 4.42's.... former J.H. Russel truck. I think I paid $9500 for it then. It smoked like a MACK too.
  15. I know. Its been posted several times, I thought SuperD would've had some knowledge of it. Seems like a fair deal... 2 valve right?
  16. Its been on eBay several times..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1982-Mack-R688ST-Tandem-Axle-Truck-Tractor-/281893386194?forcerrptr=true&hash=item41a227b7d2:g:-b4AAOSw5ZBWO79k&item=281893386194
  17. And HOW on the two-man job... I was looking for a little brother to put on the roof of my Super while I sweated it out underneath.... Anyway, I used an old spray bottle with warm water and a little dish soap mixed in. Keep the key lathered up, and smear a little straight soap into the groove too. I worked my way around with a broad flat dull putty knife and a small dull flat screwdriver. I don't doubt that special tool would've made it easier, but I went back at it with a positive attitude, and a lot of determination and it went pretty well!
  18. Girl on the Billboard (Del Reeves) Passing Zone Blues (Coleman Wilson) Pinball Machine (Lonnie Irving) How Fast Them Trucks Can Go (Claude Gray) Windowmaker (Jimmy Martin) Few of my favorites.
