  8. there are big letters stamped on the drivers side of trans usually starting with a TR
  9. im thinking some one put that 5 speed in it....you definatelyhave something there,,,none of us have ever seen haha...mine is a 15 speed with low low hole....im wondering if a standard transmission without the power take off all have the drive gear ....you should start by removing the side plate and see if it does.. i do know for a fact my 70 chevy pickup with power take off had the same size and bolt pattern as the mack bob
  10. i have heard that at my place we only have 2 or 3 left out of around 75 trucks....im thinking thats probably why we have so many idiots here

Oh, I forgot to mention that B model with the three sticks was probably a five and a four with a two speed browning behind it for longer legs that was quite common in the 50s, where most of the rigs didn’t have any top end amazing these days. These fools are all blowing my doors off at 80 miles an hour and more.

  14. Will you hire somebody dumb lazy kids these days? My opinion is to road test them on a 2 stick , but somebody said they never be able to hire any of them. Ha ha. We have two girls that are relatively new and they are both better workers, especially with the chain controls… Bob
  15. Funny, how a memory works. Probably mention my story about holding the steering wheel on a brockways while my dad lit a cigarette that was almost 60 years ago and I could tell you now exactly where we were on route one funny thing I don’t remember anything. The old lady says to me two minutes later ha ha I’m sure I’m not alone in this… Bob

  22. Yes, I’m pretty much the same way. No they’re all automatics even my four-speed 64 Ford pickup are used to drive without the clutch.Bob

  24. I also had one 300 in a 65 galaxy I didn’t have it long. I bought it real right for $100. Car was cherry but a four-door. I bought it from my boss because my sister wanted it. She needed a car at the time…. Bob
