  3. wow that thing looks real good well worth the bread especially with the low miles,,,i read a while back when they went to R model series,they had so mant B model parts left over,they continued to build them,till most of the overload of parts were used,,,,im sure alot of die hard old timers were still buying them well into 67,,,they were probably at a reasonably discounted price as well...bob

Sounds like you lost ground somewhere but yes ignition switch is a possibility I would throw shooting a bunch of WD-40 between the plastic and the steel on the backside of the switch wherever you can find an opening other than that you could probably just go to AutoZone and get a universal switch for it good luck partner thanks for keeping in touch but it looks great so far nice work bud… bob

You know I don’t even know what they are using on my truck but I know it’s got close to 100,000 miles on a set of tires they used last they were experimenting with a new brand somebody sold them know I’ll have to look at them Monday to see what they are they’re almost done now but yes 60,000 miles is usually what most of us get out of them…. Right on man thanks for the information I did not have a clue to what to do with it full set of really Clean moldings as I imagine one of them is tarnished other than that they’re almost mint they should look brand new once I get the tarnish off thanks again …. Maybe one of these days I can get started on the damn thing before I croak I’m still waiting on parts to get started on it I can’t wait to at least drive it into the garage and see what it looks like in there ha ha.. Oh by the way fellas I’ve mentioned before me and the old lady both had Covid and we’re both really stupid now over it and every now and then the old lady will tell me you’re losing it Bubba and I am thinking you’re the one that’s losing it ha ha ….
