The first picture of the red with black fenders is how mine is painted now, another idea I have for my truck ( perhaps your too?) Is to repaint bright red, with silver bumper and side skirts, and a 2" painted silver stripe vertical passing just under the window. My aviator is of my dads old truck, but thats what I want to do with mine.

Yep, fiberglass is preferred, as long as I can paint them. I could probably get the digs out, but I'd rather not be polishing all the time.

Both fuel tanks has some dents on them, would like to cover them with factory skirts. Let me know. If trading, I have a long range 22 w/ scope. Will buy also.

Thanks for the responses. 2stacksuperdog was close, the pinion on the back of my transmission has a bad bearing? I was about to take the drive shaft off and go through the gears to see if it was inside there, but as I was going on my first bolt, I noticed the pinion had lots of slop in it, and the seal is bad too, (truck leaks everything, everywhere) So does anyone know how much this project will suck? I noticed four bolts going around the pinion, is it as simple as taking the yoke off and pulling the plate off to get the bear(s) replaced? or does the entire back half with all the counter shaft bearings and stuff come off too? estimated time frame? Its a Spicer 10 speed transmission as well (Spicer SD-PS-10) and I cant find any pictures of the back half taken off, so anyone that can tell me anything, please don't hold out. Thanks

It felt like the drive shaft, but everything is tight and normal. Sometimes the vibes come and go. It did seem to start around the time of the accident. I have some play in my tie rods that connect the wheels together too, that with play inside the box I guess is my problem? The thing of it though is my steering wheel still stays sstraight if I let go, so that's the mystery to me.

It is a 99 Ch613 And starts vibrating at 45-50 mph and higher.

I jacked up the front and found some play in the steering gear box, kingpins drive shaft drag link seem fine, is that little play inside the box enough to do that, and can it be adjusted, I see something above the grease fitting, do I just turn that?

Yeah, thats a bit far. Just got my parts quote from Mack last night, Parts only if they replace everything that was hit, is around $4,000. Not sure what body and labor estimate is yet. Definitely using insurance.

Also, my insurance is through my carrier ( leasing company that leased me ) so as many truck on that policy, should have much of a rate change. Nobody from high up said anything about rate increasing.

I priced the bumpers from eBay at around $600, 1,400 from dealer, $150 headlight eBay, $400 dealer, plus paint and body. But its really my fuel tank, it was pushed up in the middle, thats where all the money is. I know its just a truck but life's too short to drive an ugly truck.

I saw that yellow superliner today east of Emporia hauling forklifts. I blew my horn driving my red ch with a green container.

In all honesty, my Low boy tractor ch613 I had at my last job, (day cab) was 20,000 pounds. And my current ch613 with mid roof sleeper weighs 16,500. You may still be lighter than other guys with peterbilts.

EBay may have the one you want. Not sure of your location, but of interstate 95 near va / nc line is Jim Redwine salvage. Three macks, one bunk, one mid roof, and the same condo you already have. I recommend you get a bunk and not a day cab conversion. So if your jobs take you down a different road, it doesn't screw you.
