  1. I have a PTO off a 77 MB685 garbage truck.It had a TRL1076 5 speed
  2. Just my opinion but I'd rebuild yours if you can't find one to replace it.I've had 2 Mack 13's and 2 Fuller 13's,Mack is by far the better transmission. If you do go with a Fuller, you'd want a RTO14613.It won't affect your top speed much,as most are .73 to 1 ratio.
  3. I bought a matched pair, consectutive serial number '67 DM611's at an auction about 7 years ago.I was assured by the "owner" of the property that they would be safe until I could arrange for them to be picked up.2 weeks later, they were gone.I don't know who ended up with them but I sure hope they got good a good price for them.
  4. Don't know if it will fit or not,but if you find out it will,I have a NOS manifold for a END673.
  5. Talk about a survivor. That is one cool looking LT.You should leave it just the way it is.
  6. It would have originally been a firetruck.
  7. Sure can,I got one not that long ago.
  8. Barry, Don't know if the order I placed this weekend qualified for one of the shirts or not,but if so,size is 3x.2x will work if you don't have any that big. Thanks,Mike
  9. That's a D model,and looks to be a very nice one.
  10. Starting sometime back in the late 20's-early 30's,the first built of each model was #1001.The exception to this seems to be with the trucks built in Hayward,CA.They evidently just got numbered in sequence,no matter what model.Take Rob's RL797 for example,it should have been RL797LST1001,being it was the first of it's kind.
  11. The Superliner II came out in late '84,so were titled as '85's.The last of the Superliner I would have been titled as '85's also. .
  12. pics of some parts and trucks I have for sale
  13. I'm not sure which plant the LT was built, but it was eastcoast built for the westcoast market.2009 were built from 1947 to 1956.You could get them with either a Cummins diesel,Mack EN707 gas engine or Hall-Scott engines.LTL's had lightweight aluminum chassis components,LTH's used steel.
  14. You're right,Jeff,I read that VIN wrong.Guess my wife is right,I do need to think about getting glasses.
  15. If the VIN is correct,it would have originally had a 237 Maxidyne,so that really doesn't make it that rare.
  16. RW613-001243,That's for the '85 my Dad bought new.Ordered as a non-sleeper,we put the sleeper on later. Hope this helps, Mike
  17. Looks like a B-57 to me.
