  1. But the Mob and the Democrats "earn" their cabbage by shaking down or out and out stealing it from some one who busted their rump to get it. -Brad
  2. Not a big fans of clubs for the most part. Give anyone money and power, and it will eventually get messed up. -Brad
  3. That's funny shit right there. I also refer to him as "Barry" -Brad
  4. I am the third generation of my family to be involved in the trucking industry. I grew up around it, so I knew what I was getting into. The way I look at it, trucks always kept food on the table and a roof over my head. I also enjoy everyday that I get to go to work. -Brad
  5. I am guessing that is brown in color.......-Brad
  6. I love to see a deal come together. -Brad
  7. There was some overlap on the E-7/E-6's. We had an 91' CH that was an E-7 and a 91' RD that is an E-6. -Brad
  8. Give our shop guy a call. His name is Jared and he may be able to help you. 815.568.5695. We are located in Marengo,IL. -Brad
  9. Great pics. I love the disclaimer, although it should be placed at the beginning of the thread. I have the tendcey to look at pics and not read anything until it is to late. -Brad
  10. When I was running down I-88 today, I could sense there was an RS 700 lover in the area.
  11. I think the Astro looks great. Went and looked at a Chevy Bison the other day. It was to far gone for me. Money and time, if only we all had more. -Brad
  12. Around here, we say that real trucks have 3 buttons. Dad always ordered the few new Macks we have had with three buttons until that wasn't an option any more. I think that the blue button went to the way side in 01' with the new style dash. I use the blue button a lot. Use them if you got'em. - Brad
  13. There was a fella over by Zoin,IL that had an early CH with tanks that had the built in step (R Model). He claimed to order it that way. I kinda believed him because they were a tad fatter around than a. R model tank. I really like the R model style tank, although I have to admit there are mornings when that step seems to be a bit higher than it was the day before. A few years ago my brother took a couple guys to the DMV to get there CDL's with his 91'. The state instructor wouldn't get in on account of the step be so high. Claimed that it was un safe. -Brad
  14. We use a fella over in Woodstock,IL. Have always called him "Diesel Bill". Call the the shop and talk to Jared, he will get you his number. Diesel Bill has always been real fair to us. -Brad
  15. I ordered one off of Amazon back in December. Really happy with it so far. It's a big one that makes ya look like you are running the drive thru at Wendy's. But, the RD is not the quietest truck on the road, and people say they can hear me better. I can hear them better too. I to have noticed that their alot of people in cars with out them. Just who are they talking to at 6am, while driving down I-290 @65mph while reading the newspaper and sipping thier coffee? - Brad
  16. Wish I had that problem....I prefer to run them forever. With a Mack drivetrain! I do know guys that have it figured it out to where they prefer to make the payments, trade out every 3-4 years, and not lay underneath of it. The one fella says that if he is under his truck, call 911' cuz it prolly ran him over. -Brad
  17. Had a situation like that with an over load on a dump trailer. The Illinois state cop was just so nice to work it out with the truckstop that he weighed our truck at, that they would let us dump the over load of road salt in the corner of their lot. I asked if they were gonna pay us for the salt, and he said no. Boy did we get a funny look from him when I backed my pick-up truck up to the side of the trailer and started shoveling. The real funny part was when he asked what we were doing. I told him making the truck legal, and buddy that owns this place unhappy cuz he aint getting any free salt. - Brad
  18. If you knew the guys that own the truck, you would know that when they bleed, their blood is actually little bulldogs being poured out of there body. These guys live for Mack trucks and own trucks from original done trucks to the one seen here. -Brad
  19. I think it is a Win-Win. Congrats. -Brad
  20. Took advantage of the warm weather today and sandblasted one the RS mixers. Did it on a whim, because of the weather. 1 started, 3 to go. - Brad
  21. Mike, I have a number for a guy that runs out of Ohio to our area moving trucks. Message me on here and I will get it to you. -Brad
  22. We bought one about 6 years ago for our F-model. It cost $600.00 at that time. Asking and getting are 2 different things. -Brad
  23. I love the positive rep. points I have received and find the topics that garnered them interesting. Nice to know there are people out there who are like minded as me. Have not received any negitve rep., if I did , I guess I would be complaining. -Brad
