  1. Did the Harrisburg accident occur in the parking lot or on the street? I saw the striking rig as it was towed past the muster - significant front end damage. I saw two people in it when it came into the Farm Show parking lot - was surprised that no one had a least minor injuries.
  2. I will try to include a photo, sorry it's so small.
  3. In current Wheels of Time magazine there is a 1964 B85 with a Thermodyne Diesel. The seller is Bob Stokes @ 865-805-2923. The truck looks in great shape in the photo and is garage kept. No asking price listed.
  4. I spoke with Watts Mack and the last pricing they had heard of between private parties was $800.00 a set.
  5. In the current issue of "Wheels of Time" there is a set of B Model SS mirror brackets. Asking price is $675. David Allen (706) 878-6260

  8. I spoke to Tom a year or so ago and he did not have any brackets left. He had 100 sets made up and stated that is was a big headache. The brackets came in separated boxes so you had to go to each box to make up the set. And in the end the numbers of each part were not the same. If you could get someone to fabricate them I think you could sell plenty. The problem is putting up the money for the initial purchase and then hoping you sell them to get your investment back.
  9. Truck was originally owned by the Paoli Fire Company in Pennsylvania. I don't know what year the Snorkel was added. I think it then went to the fire company with the name on the boom and then to a private collector. It is now in possession of the Black Diamond Chapter of SPAAMFAA.
  10. I think you need to determine if it is steel or aluminum. Check with a magnet. If it sticks, it will need to be painted, if not you could try aluminum jelly if it is available and follow the directions for the best finish. A very fine grade of steel wool may work, but this will take forever - good luck.
  11. For Oil use Shell Rotella 40 wt. How are you arriving in Wilmington?
  12. Is this the truck from Wilmington, Delaware area? I have a 1965 B95 with a 707C and there are two gasoline filters by the fuel pump. Unfortunately the truck is not close or I could take a look. Check the rear, transmission, oil, and radiator levels. As someone suggested take along extra oil - 40wt and radiator fluid. I drove mine back from Columbus, Ohio to outside of philly and just had to add oil at each fill up. If it has juiced brakes check the fluid level, if air empty the tanks of water. If it is the truck in Wilmington let me know, maybe I can help you out. Mark
