  1. No special tools needed my friend. A good set of snap ring pliers, a good flat tip screwdriver, and a hammer to tap the input shaft (use a brass one). They do make a puller setup for doing it and it is handy for sure, but its not necessary.
  2. Personally, I prefer the 1 piece brake. They seem to hold up better.
  3. I use this to refill my trucks, tractors and equipment when doing a coolant refill. They honestly work great and they aren't real expensive. https://www.cpsproducts.com/product-details/550000/
  4. I know you said you're not endorsing the Obama administration, and im glad to hear that. That said, the Obama era was some of the worst years I've ever seen in my lifetime thus far in the area of the economy. I watched ALOT of people fold up in the trucking and construction sector. That administration is directly responsible for the trajectory for what we see in congress today as far as conduct unbecoming. During his administration's tenure, the push for DEI and wokeness as a mainstay in our government and society in general, its like like they opened Pandora's box. Once they let the crazy out and normalized it, you cant put it back in the box. Thank the Obama era for the way our current congress carries itself nowadays.
  5. Its the Olympics.....its not a political forum for debating policies. Free speech or not, privileged position or not, theres really nothing that interesting about mixing politics and personal opinions with every aspect of our lives. Athletes and celebrities on both sides of the aisle have really forgotten that they are paid entertainment. Nothing more. Normal people aren't interested in their opinion. That goes for weather they support the current events or administration in the country they represent or not. It isn't really necessary either way. If he wants to get his opinion out or answer political questions, theres plenty of bottom of the barrel outlets he can choose from. Any one of the late night show pundits would love to have him on.
  6. Sometimes less is more. The guy didn't really need to use his platform as a way to share his personal political opinions. Being a patriot is one thing, but there is a time and place for that sort of thing....the Olympics really isn't a great time for out of touch athletes representing their country to weigh in on politics. Thats actually one of the most unpatriotic things a person in that particular position could do. People aren't watching the Olympics to hear some out of touch person rant about their country one way or another.
  7. So I was watching the movie "Patton" last night. Good movie, but I noticed a few vehicle and equipment mistakes. One being this B model Mack they had hook to a mobile war room. The B model didn't come out until AFTER WW2 from what I know. Still a good movie, just the inaccuracies only guys like us would even catch throws it off a bit.
  8. Yeah you're right Mark. My understanding was they had the frame spread out up front to accommodate the E9 V-8. One thing about the MH/RW2/CL frames....they were very odd compared to the rest of the Mack lineup of models.
  9. I do believe those are what im after.
  10. Thank you Joey! @Freightrain I've been following along. This is a great thread. Thanks for keeping the posts coming!
  11. Joey, would you happen to know what valve stems seals are on a 93 E7? It seems I remember an update to the the valve stem seals after 94 or 95? I need to read in my book to refresh my memory. Im needing some for my E7.
  12. On Ebay right now. Someone might be interested in this on their E7 builds. It would be handy for someone im sure. https://www.ebay.com/itm/127577619330
  13. Couple new ones I've been working on
  14. I love collecting toy trucks and trains. Do a good bit of modeling and I noticed a few others on here do as well!
  15. Hah, this world is crazy aint it Joey!
  16. I saw this earlier and kinda chuckled. Its more than likely just someone stirring the pot and playing with photoshop, but with what behavior I witnessed on multiple videos of that incident I would absolutely not be surprised if that record was legit. Regardless, by now I dont think a person would or could find any real data on her even if they really wanted too. That info has probably been scrubbed an hour after the media found out she was killed. They will now paint her as a hero and give her the same honorary treatment they have George Floyd and his golden casket.
  17. "If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough"
  18. We have sub human scum like George Sorros and company to thank for these protests. Its pretty obvious that a big majority of these people are paid protesters that travel around from place to place to help spread hate and division here in America. Most of these people when cornered have no real idea what they are even protesting nor do they care. They just want paid and attention, thats all that really matters to them.
  19. This is what 3rd world country type behavior looks like. Corruption and Chaos rule those environments. Whats even more telling is, this type of behavior when seen in America is almost always in Democrat ran cities.
  20. That is a really nice old Mack. Wow!
  21. I pulled the clutch on my Kenworth in May of 2025 due to not disengagement and a rear main leak. Clutch had 740,000 on it basically 8 years. Had alot of life left, but the pilot bearing was literally gone. Pieces of it were lodging and causing disengageing issues with my clutch. It was a shame too, because i know that clutch would have went a good bit longer if the pilot bearing hadn't gave up.
  22. Interesting. I will say in the older trucks I've run the organic clutches did seem to have a smoother engagement/disengagement. The newer Eaton ceramic clutches from 2017 on with the newer proprietary materials on the pads of the discs seem to replicate the same smoothness on engagement/disengagement that of an organic material clutch.
