  1. My Grandpa had to build an Engine Stand from Scratch to hold the engine from his Brockway. It rotated the engine 360 degrees. He had his friend that owned the local Junk yard called Army's here in Lima,Ohio bring over his Engine picker machine to git the motor out. He had to replace the camshaft I believe is what he told me. After he died I found that same stand sitting in the weeds by his property line and it was still in use able shape. But wouldn't you know that Someone had more energy than me I guess and stole it.
  2. Merry Christmas 🎅 Everybody
  3. I'll take any of those trucks but forget the Girls. The trucks look better without them. Just my opinion
  4. Throw the Chick out and I'll take the truck thank you 😊
  5. Don't forgot the famous "I'm going to Water your grave!!!" Line either. Currently heading to West Virginia for Christmas with family 👪
  6. Yeah it helps with Modulation. The metal on the truck scrambles the radio waves.
  7. Yeah in my 15yrs out here in the road I marvel at some of my fellow drivers that are older than me by almost 20yrs and come ask me how to tie down loads on a flatbed or drag tires because they are too impatient to let the air build on a spread axle flatbed etc. Or can't wait five minutes at a Shipper or receiver before they are calling the Dispatcher lol. We had a guy the other day tell our mechanic that he points his Mirror mounted CB antennas forward not just for better reception but he doesn't want to be over 13'6 lol 😆 😉 😜
  8. I'd love to have A B model in that condition sitting in my driveway
  9. I also Recall from my childhood days Preston had some R model Mack's as well.
  10. Here's a new Piece of Mack history I learned of while researching here a few minutes ago.
  11. I never seen one of these only the regular Single axle R models and maybe the terminal here in Lima,Ohio had acouple U models also Single axle I believe
  12. I remember when Roadway had R models i don't remember Yellow having any Mack's. I remember Overnight having them as well. That was the early 90's.
  13. Oh yeah I know what they are. I've got a buddy his CB handle is Chicken Troy. At one time he had 112 on his truck and 120 on his trailer. One night he walked in to the 76 truckstop in North Baltimore, Ohio with his sunglasses still on and it was dark outside hahahaha 😆 😂 😅
  14. One of these Days I wanna have my own version of the Rubberduck truck but with Two sticks instead of one and alil bit more chickin lights in good taste. Maybe a mix between moonfire and the Rubberduck truck with my own personal touch mixed in. My own personal truck not just another cookie cutter replica if you know what I'm saying.
  15. I enjoy a slow and steady trip now and then
  16. I don't have it put for her I'm just giving my opinion 🤷. And also if that were my mother I would be embarrassed just sayin'.. I understand age happens to all of us but some people should appropriately dress their age not what age they think they are.
  17. It's on my bucket list to drive one of these someday
  18. I think that one on the left looks like a dragster spotter girl at our local drag strip. Whole lot better than that leopard thing earlier.
  19. CT Granite whatever you wanna call it. As far as trucks go to me it was a hunk of junk as a roll off truck and didn't impress me at all. My 1991 Ford L8000 out worked that hunk any day in my opinion. The one we had didn't have the fender flares like that.
  20. Nope it was a Granite Roll off truck. I've got a 1:32 Scale first gear Die-cast Replica of the same kinda truck. I remember that first winter they had it. My supervisor stole the plug in cord off my L8000 garbage truck because it was more important that the Granite be plugged in than my hunk of junk. They tried for over an hour to git that sucker started hahahaha while my L8000 started right up after a few revolutions of the engine 😅 🤣 😂. They had to drag the new Granite into the shop, plugged it back in, and put a Salamander heater under it hahahaha later on it finally started. Yeah I wasn't really impressed with it especially after riding in it and even after putting meatier tires on it and locking the diff in it still couldn't git off the landfill face under it's own power while dumping a roll off box.
  21. If that's a Granite I didn't particularly care for the ride of those things. I rode in a brand spankin' new one back in 07. I believe they had just introduced them. Ours was a roll-off truck and it rode like a log wagon and that first winter it didn't want to start even after being plugged in all-night.
  22. If she were dressed like that with those heels she'd be labeled a lot Lizard. And in no way shape or form is that car or truck show acceptable clothing. She'd probably be one of those that turns into a Karen if caught staring at her.
  23. I ain't saying there's nothing wrong with older women I'm just saying she needs to dress better.
  24. Yeah unfortunately I wasn't hatched until September of 1987. Graduated Highschool in 2006 and began my driving career at 18 about 3weeks before I graduated. I actually missed commencement exercises at my homeschool because I was training for my first Driving job and had school to work privileges from the vocational school I was attending.
  25. To each his own but I said what I said and I'll stand by it just sayin' . I've been to many car shows and I've seen her type and alot of times it ain't very positive the same with the guy with her type. Just my experience
