  1. I’m assuming dealer looked at the camshaft when they did the injectors? If not these “assembled” camshafts have spun lobes…
  2. Looks like….”Engine Timing and position do not agree” Maybe check those sensors? I believe you can unplug one at a time and if it shuts off the one that’s plugged in is bad. Truck will shut off with both unplugged. JoeyMack told me this once. I’m sure he can add to this or correct me.
  3. Did you ever get this resolved? They don’t call you back….You call and wait for help. What number are you calling? You can reset yourself. If you haven’t logged in for a while they lock out your account and then you have to call.

  5. Out of curiosity is the DRV something to consider? Could these get stuck open and essentially creating an internal boost leak? Never had any issues with them but wasn’t sure if it was a possibility?

  8. Sometimes they leak inside the cup too. Not always the outside. There is a video I posted before with a guy giving a good explanation. Let me find it.

  11. Truck was doing regens, but if you looked in history on PTT there was a lot of failed ones too
  12. That delta p sensor could be an issue. One way to find out is get PTT going and turn the key on. If you have a reading other then zero it’s bad. So I have found. We had one plug a dpf due to egr valve and that sensor
  13. So this is tough because you say it runs great other then the filter issue and your getting good temps. Also the truck is saying it’s completing regens but it’s not…
  14. How’s the 7th injector? Your getting good heat so it should be good. Sometimes they will dump fuel and not spray a mist. I wonder if the truck needs an update or something. Sensors seem be telling the truck regens are complete but they clearly are not.
  15. Assuming this is a trash truck with your name, I could see regens being quite frequent. It might not be that the engine is the issue but maybe the after treatment system is and not properly doing a regen and face plugging your filters. Also are you sure the driver isn’t just ignoring the regen light and keeps driving?
  16. I heard there was a common issue with the hvac control module. It may have been earlier years. I forget. However one of our RDs the compressor would cycle on and off and that cold air would be lost later in the day and I replaced the high pressure switch and issue was fixed.
  17. See if you can get a video of it when it does what your saying. All honesty it may be normal. I’d like to hear it.
  18. Also the fact this only happens a few times and only when pto is engaged would have me considering other options then a turbo. A lot of times people hang turbos on trucks and then find out it was something simple like a DRV, boost leak, or a sensor, etc. My suggestion would be get the truck to operating temp and do a vgt function test.
  19. Does it cycle the sliding ring nozzle when you turn the key on? You should hear it. That’s where it does it’s check. This could be a software issue or maybe an egr. The best way to tell is have PTT hooked up for when it does do it.
