    Now a 1-1 blink code for the EECU is for EOP. You mentioned you had problems with that in the past. That will shut it down

    Sounds like you have a short to ground and going to need to start wiggling wires/connectors to get it to reoccur

    Check fuel pressure too. These ones were also notorious for gear spin on the shaft of fuel pump.

    When you say “air to air” is that just the CAC? If so you have only checked half of the charge air system. Turbo could be getting worn, boost leaks at turbo/before CAC, or boost leaks after CAC/at intake manifold.

    I’m not going to give you a definite answer on that, but from what I know and thinking of possibly why it wouldn’t…I’d say I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I do know it’s been done.
