  2. Depending on how the analysis comes back I’m gonna say yes, but I hope some others add there knowledgeable opinion.
  3. Any pics of the rest of the truck/interior? It doesn’t look bad at all for the price.
  4. I think that truck just did a lot of idling. That pump should not be wet. One of those clamps pry need to be tightened up. No biggie. That truck probably has an air assisted. However you should have some play, so it should be adjusted.
  5. That crack is going to be a loss of heat and could cause failed regens. That other picture is of the power steering pump/fuel pump.
  6. Engine hours to miles is “hours X 60” It equates to 1,017,780 miles. I’m not sure how accurate that formula is but that’s what I’ve been told.
  7. Unloader valves? Check to make sure they are free. Anymore I’m finding out that new parts don’t mean they are good to go. I’ve heard of changing the whole dryer solved this issue. Im not gonna say go spend a few hundred but I’ve HEARD this has fixed this issue after all else was replaced. This was from a Mack dealership so take that for what it’s worth…Usually not much anymore.
  8. Mack can change it since you pry don’t have PTT. I think you just have to sign a waiver.
  9. governed at 65mph
  10. You may be able to, V might be able to answer that. He’s a real good one to listen too.
  11. Right, the huck bolts are gone and replaced with hex bolts. How’s the job going other then that bar Ricky?
  12. With it being an 08 and having 100k on it I’d suspect the cups/injectors have been done with the updates.
  13. Ok so cups/injectors are good. The only other real issue with these were injector hold downs and bull gear failures. You won’t know when that happens until it does….or you will hear a lot of noise in the backside of the engine and more as the engine speeds up. It’s a very expensive and labor intensive job. Timing gears are on the back of these engines. So alot has to come apart to fix it. The nut for the gear comes lose on them.
  14. Have you fired it up cold? If so did it fire up pretty quickly?
  15. Hahaha, I’m not familiar with loves truck shop. So I can’t answer that. So that DOC (diesel oxidation catalyst) and DPF (diesel particulate filter) are all one unit under the passenger door. It looks like a kerosene heater haha. You will get to know these trucks pretty well once you buy one.
  16. Lol, yea it’s not exactly a looker. For the miles it’s very possible for it to be that low. However you are right about the price…Usually when things are too good to be true they almost always are. Especially with the truck market the way it is now. What are you looking to do with it? Maybe see if you can find out who had it last and what exactly they used it for.
  17. Looks decent though
  18. Is there any service information on this truck? What’s with that bumper, any idea what the truck was previously used for? I notice some volvo green parts on it. Stand up style doc/dpf so check the bottom pan for cracks or holes. If possible maybe ask about getting some oil and getting an analysis done on it.
  19. Post pics of interior, exterior, engine, underside, etc. If you want people to let you know about a deal or not.
  20. Good truck in my opinion. Low milage truck with a good trans and high hp. Only thing I can recommend is make sure all the emissions equipment is there and not tampered with. You will need it on there for WHEN you need to have it worked on. They have their issues like all the other manufactures.
  21. Premium Tech Tool and a laptop that supports windows 10 pro or 11.
  22. Regardless of brand you are having an issue with the brake on that axle. I’d suggest after driving for a bit get out and use a temp gun on each drum and see how much the difference is.
  23. 94 and up
  24. Good question and that’s what I always thought was odd when I first heard of such a thing. I do it because eaton tells me too.
