No keep going, I like tools. God for bid anyone every robbed your garage. But most people would walk buy all that stuff in there and be like nothing but junk in here! Little do they know how much money is in there. As for the pitting. Not sure bud, just oxidation made the imperfections show through? -

Also make sure you check all your connections I bet that’s not the only one leaking. Looks like the clamp at the cooler inlet is too

Ok, yea get that sealed up. That will pry fix you your issue. Exhaust leaks are no no’s on these mp engines.

Has your driving style changed or location of where you typically are driving? You can seal that up pretty easily. Just get the aluminum gasket and two new clamps. One for the turbo and the one in the picture.

Have them do a combustion gas test on the cooling system. That will tell you what direction to go next. -
Passive regen occurs when the engine load and speed allow the temperature of the exhaust to get above like 650 or so. Also stay there long enough to burn off the soot. If you had a massive exhaust leak(s) then yes I could see that being the cause.

Diffuser pipe, no I wouldn’t say that small leak is a reason it won’t “passive” regen. Will it complete a parked regen?

Sounds like this company and their equipment is the issue, not you C4…None of us meant to come off as we were pointing the finger at you.

I was under the impression you were taking to a place to have all this work done. Either way the people working on it need a few lessons.

Just because they get worked hard isn’t an excuse for shotty maintenance. The fact you have people to adjust your brakes says alot, also that means your brakes arnt working correctly and you should be pulled off the road. It’s trucks like this that kill others.

Hey C4 thanks for sharing your experience and the pics. We arnt being rough on you….just the people you are paying to do these jobs. Maybe we can save you more of your money or your life/others.
