  1. You have quite the skill level/set sir!
  2. Winston, what all have you checked or changed out? There are a few possibilities here. The more info you give us the better me and pro can help you out.
  3. Yes, push throttle some and see if it opens.
  4. What did you do to them?
  5. Also you guys should look into premium tech tool. Strictly for volvo/Mack. You then get truck portal and you give them your truck vins and you can go on and get all the parts diagrams/numbers, service bulletins, service manuals, specifications/values, etc. for each truck. There is also online classes on there you can take for every single part of the truck. Brakes, engine, trans, suspension, etc. I think once you pass soo many of them you can go to their classes if you want. But there is a ton of online stuff you can do for free. I just started messing with it and started at the beginning with theory on oil haha.
  6. Haha, never done that. I would like too. A lot of specialty tools and service manuals. Guys do manage to do with out them though. Not sure how long they last…Most people hate these engines, but I happen to like them.
  7. Haha apparently alot
  8. you guys seen this before or something???🤔
  9. Thanks bud, you still know enough about them to be dangerous haha. Nah you know more then what you WANT to know about them. Don’t let him fool you mdixon he’s good with them. E7/Etech is no doubt his forte.
  10. Like to hear what others have to say as well. Not to many MP guys on here, pretty much Joey Mack, FJH, Vmac3, and Mackpro for the most part. May be forgetting some others but they are the most active. You seem pretty smart and seem to be doing a nice job! I might as well add you to that list. Keep up the good work!
  11. You can check this valve by taking the egr pipe off up by the intake manifold or wherever is easiest and put your hand over it to see how much flow. You will feel a little but if it’s a lot it’s bad. You can put a glove on it and if it fills up quick and pops pretty quick it’s bad. They can also burn out coolers or plug them up.
  12. Get used to it, you will be like master tech in no time lol
  13. You may not even have that much leakage. Valve may not seal perfectly anyway
  14. These valves can cause a mess of issues if stuck open. Like face plugged dpfs
  15. Little spoiled over here on BMT
  16. Ahhh I was thinking of that plug, but wasn’t sure what years it was on.
  17. I checked it out earlier and it was a little crude looking for me so I left haha.
  18. Accessory relay possibly. Someone that knows more about these then me will be here soon.
  19. But no there should not be, these valves are notorious for taken a shit.
  20. Leaking at the gasket?
  21. Haven’t seen that yet, interesting. Either way no egr flow doing regen. That will cause a big boost leak/loss of heat.
  22. The ahi module has air supply to it for the 7th injector. Really important to keep up on air dryers on these. Thank god they got rid of that valve.
  23. Got this idea from Mackpro/FJH, mine is just different than theirs. It’s a piece of egr cooler hose, a pvc cap, and air fitting threaded in it and epoxied. Stick it on the cold side of cooler and put 40psi of regulated air to it and you can check for exhaust leaks up to the valve and or check to see if valve is open. Also check for cooler coolant leaks. That way you don’t have to keep taking the diffuser pipe off and fighting with all the other shit.
  24. Those gaskets suck on the hot pipe! We just talked about a tool to make to test the system before putting it back together in the one thread you posted pics of the n14. However those should not affect regen temps as egr valve should be closed at regen.
