No doubt Pro has the best job security out there. Volvo wants to make sure plenty of mechanics and parts guys are employed worldwide. I think that’s their end goal…They come to the engineers and ask them to make the next version shittier than the last and to create new parts that fail for the ones that are currently working. -

It’s nice to hear that I’m not the only person out there that gets my ass handed to me by a stupid U pipe. It’s also extremely nice to hear that someone of your skill set and knowledge has problems with it as well. That thing can make you feel pretty stupid haha. It’s funny how it has a very distinct sound when it leaks, sounds like a tea pot. Comes and goes through the rpm range as it should, as it’s tied to the egr valve. If it’s all the way through the rpm range then it’s a good way to tell that the valve is stuck open.

The walls could be cracked. I don’t think a wire is going to show that. It’s a wall flow type filter. Im sure you knew that.

That would have gave me a headache trying to concentrate on all those holes and I would have to keep restarting after the 10th one haha. So 45min is pretty damn good.
