  1. Last 6 is good, oh I know nothing comes apart easy on anything in the North East. I live it just like you do! Get a needle scaler to knock all that shit out of the inside of those buckets and make sure you lube the new pads with a non petroleum lube. We use Goop waterless hand soap.
  2. I can look up the part number tomorrow for you. If you decide to get the polys you can just go with getting them for the bottom and you can do the rubbers up top if you wanted too. The bottoms are what get all the weight/movement. Make sure you get all new hardware. I’m sure you will but you would be surprised at how many don’t. Also when taking a part make sure the round locating “tit” on the spring “T” is still in good shape. If not the springs are trash. A lot of times they get rusted and worn down to nothing.
  3. Nonsense to others I guess, I thoroughly enjoy it haha. Hopefully you can get those brakes knocked out quick and get inside and help out with the valve. A lot of people retire and then end going back to work. Working for free….not to many do that. You like what you do so it’s not really working I guess. It’s an opportunity to stay busy, pass on your knowledge, and keep moving. As i see people age I find that the guys that keep moving and staying active tend to stay that way for a longggg time, pretty much until they die. The ones that don’t typically die younger then those that do and have plenty of issues.
  4. Hahaha, game on!
  5. Let us know! Hopefully it’s not the bull gear, but either way it needs fixed…
  6. Haha….Yeaaaaa, but lately we have really been hijacking some threads with off topic nonsense.
  7. There is dealership near me that is called Bergeys Truck Centers. We use for truck sales, all parts, and service when needed. They have gone a handful of times and placed third in 2018. I had to verify the year and came across this. “Bergeys Bulldogs have made it to the 2018 finals! In April, the Bergey Bulldogs placed 3rd in North America at the 2018 VISTA (Volvo International Service Training Award) World Semi-Finals in Gothenburg, Sweden - home of Volvo Trucks. As Semi-Finalists and one of the top 40 teams in the world, our crew headed to Curtiba, Brazil to represent the USA at the VISTA World Championship Final.” I knew it was pretty intense competition, but not that intense….
  8. Yes that a good idea too
  9. Ok @Joey Mack and @mechohaulic when we get going we need to just transfer over to here. Lol!
  10. It’s not even a legit Mack competition. It’s all Volvo engines/trans painted red. You should get a Volvo master cert when you’re done.
  11. 👏🏻 As I get older I notice I bleed easier, longer, and cuts take alot longer to heal. I’m 34 so not quite to your level yet….
  12. It’s a competition where groups of guys from dealerships all over the world come to compete against each other. Each dealership is its own team of 4 guys. They have to do a bunch of problem solving that’s being timed. This is at the Mack trucks academy. I’m not sure how many teams get invited but it’s a big deal. Here are some pics to give you somewhat of an idea.
  13. surprised to hear that you haven’t, would have been another good one to go. Your a Mack master in my book haha.
  14. Should pry change it to MackMaster. Speaking of which he would be a good candidate for Mack Masters. I’m not sure what criteria needs to be met to get on one of those teams….
  15. Safe to say he couldn’t have picked a better name for himself….
  16. I like them too for all the same reasons. I really like them on MPs for the extra filtration on that sensitive/expensive fuel system.
  17. No, it was typically and option. We have them all on our trucks. From 97-2018
  18. just watched your vid joey, crazy how that quick blast of fire did that amount of damage
  19. But I will find a way to watch it!
  20. I will have to look up on the computer tomorrow. Doesn’t seem to like it on the I phone.
  21. Big fire ball?
  22. You have a video?
  23. We all do stupid shit and we will continue to, it’s life. You just have to make sure you learn from the first time, and if you don’t…. well then there’s a place for you haha…. You just had the balls to post your mess up and it’s appreciated!
  24. By the way I’ve known a guy to sever all his ligaments in his fingers when he decided to stab a fillet knife into a cutting board and ran his hand down the whole length of the blade when the hand slipped off the handle. He made a full recovery. Also a guy that rolled his side by side and severed most of his arm. He pry got majority if not all strength and motion back. So you should be good! The human body is amazing at healing!
  25. Wish you a quick recovery as I’m sure you will and I will take this as a learning experience at your expense unfortunately.
