  1. She agree's the old timey way was the sh!t... Jojo, and his wife...:)
  2. My wife is talking to me from the kitchen now, she say's when you set up for a spread, set youre chains for the thickness of the spread, then raise the bed till you here the product start to slide, then put it in drive and as you move, the bed will raise as you move forward. use your speed for lay down.... she say's it takes practice because she drove dump trucks with cable operated dump valves so she would set in gear and go, and spread with the lever... it's doable... My wife kick's ass!!! Jojo
  3. Are you talking about spread dumping? This is Joey Mack's wife I have driven these trucks and did spread dumping. The truck I drove was a 2019 GR104F Quad with M Drive and high rise tail gate. You do not use the high rise tailgate, you use your chains.
  4. Premium Tech Tool... not sure about the NexiQ box, but Vocomm 8300 works... I think I got the # right. You can buy a Fleet version for around $600.00... You have to keep up with it and log in regularly, so that you don't have to be on hold for 2 hrs, with 'tech support' but it is very handy... I look forward to more comments to help you with this tool... I loaded the new version for a cust. 3 months ago... I believe the version was 2.8... but the website will direct you to the latest version.. I assume it has an Alison tranny.? I do not know what you need to diagnose it... sorry... jojo
  5. heck, just visit and post in other topic's, post pic's, shoot the Sh!T whatever.. there is a catagory list that offers thing's other than Mack stuff.. Jojo
  6. there were a few updates to try to help the Jacobs 690 engine brake. One was a top oil line feed kit. If you see braided oil lines going to the jake spacers, then the update has been done. when you pull the valve covers to inspect, the data plate should have .021" stamped where the jake adjustment is stamped, old was .015 or .017... just curious, you can just take a pic of the left side of the jake spacers/valve covers. and the data plate on top of the front valve cover, or rear if they were swapped... then we can add more info.. jojo
  7. that pipe plug is the fuel gallery...
  8. my pleasure, but it was really a team effort... one of the best parts about BMT.. jojo
  9. damn good truck... jojo
  10. V-Mac 1
  11. I know.... God bless you... jojo
  12. good call Onyx, Ive been in N.C. for 16 years, and I rarely ever need to pull out torches, and such, plus a million curse words.. I still anti-sieze every bolt that needs it... .. jojo
  13. yes sir..... I believe it is a fuel delivery issue, and you make good sense.. I hope he doesnt load the parts cannon and fire it, however,, he seems to be diagnosing instead... jojo
  14. ok.. I will look for you tomorrow...
  15. I know... I'm from Maine... road salt kills everything.. may I suggest you spray them now with PB Blaster, and let them soak over night... any good pen. oil will do, then tomorrow use a 3/4" wrench and work them back and forth, with care... the lines are about $150.00 ea. only need to bleed 2 of them... pick 2 easy ones. ie: 2+5..... jojo
  16. ok... now..... you opened the fuel lines at the head and bled off at least 2, right, like 'F' said, you pump the primer and pull on the line a little bit and bleed the air.. jojo
  17. sorry, but I just want to be clear.... youre pump has the filter on it, right?
  18. early E-Techs, But it is possible. In my experience it's the early ones... The one he has IMO was a better pump, just tricky to r+r the filter.. I welcome other opinions... jojo
  19. I think we are posting too many possible issues. The truck ran , then it ran bad, now it wont start, is that correct?
  20. Doesnt Bosch make the Mack pump? I know the primers are...
  21. the last pump i bought for an ASET was $950.00 3-4 years ago...
  22. i bet you have the fuel pump with the fuel filter on it? if so..... Bring a folding chair with you when you go to MackVo... you will need it... Sorry... Jojo
  23. It is evil but, luckily all i had to do was remove the fuel hose at the primary filter inlet and tank then pull the tape out of the tank, then fish out the cardboard tube that was the middle of the roll..
  24. could be.... many years ago I chased a problem with hard starting and rough running, and after a few days, I found electrical tape in the fuel line from the tank to the lift pump.. someone ( dissgruntaled Employee We thought) anyway there was a roll of electrical tape in the tank, once the glue dissolved, well....... now you have mile long snake... sad thought's but possible... keep in touch.. jojo
  25. operating pressure is between 60-100 psi.. did you crack a line at the head and pump the primer till it leaks of, air will bubble out first.. then lock it back down, 2 lines will be enough to get it to fire...
