  1. I was trying to find a top rotator for an E-Tech head.. Mack was not able to find one for me, kept going to the bottom rotator set-up for some reason... I found a part number.... 722GC226... I need 2 of these, but didnt want to buy from E-Bay until I know this is the right part.. I cant post any pics because i have met my quota and am not able to clean the folder,,, sorry,,, jojo
  2. laptop, all i have ... I dont even see a trash can icon to delete the pics...
  3. Bob, I have tried several ways and cannot delete any pics.. Im sorry ,, I dont know what im doing wrong... jojo
  4. thanks onyx, I started a topic about my attachments, I will stop posting on this in this thread now,,, jojo
  5. Hello, I have reached my quota for attachments. I want to clear it out and start over. I post a lot of pics to help answer questions, and now I can not do it anymore.. I hope there is a way to re-set it.. Thanks, Jojo
  6. i think you are right.. jojo
  7. the e-7 is a different set up. I believe the bolt hole are a different size, the jacobs 690 heads, have a larger hole and the bolts are shoulderd to fit in the hole, and they are metric thread, and the adjuster on the e-6 uses a fork to set jake lash based on turbo type, the e-7 uses a .015 feeler gauge, or .017, or .021 depending on the updates that were done to the jake heads,, and I think there is only 3 bolts holding the e-6 engine brake head down, where the e-7 uses 6...... I'm curious.... Jojo
  8. Onyx, I'm glad you were able to post that.. I have a hard time posting pics lately,, jojo
  9. tried again to post pics of the specs.. cant get it done.. sorry... jojo
  10. my guess is you have a V-Mac III truck.. I have seen you post here before.. My suggestion is to buy, (V-MacIII Book # 8-211) ... it is a wealth of info.. jojo
  11. heck they talk about rape too... ohh excuse me... non mutual sex acts... anyway.. they have bigger fish to fry, like parents that want their kids to get a TRUE education at school, or maybe someone doesnt want to wear a useless mask, or get a vaccine, or Patriots that want to close our southern border, Oh yeah, and there's even some of us that like to drive a real vehicle, powered by , I don't know..... fossil fuel... its called fossil fuel because it is supposed to run out some day,,, well, maybe then in 5000 years we will have truly improved electric vehicles... i dont know.... anyway , this is what they want to waste time and money on... Corruption is just a sideline, oh crap I almost forgot....... every white man is a racist.. thats another real issue,, well, i guess i'm done for now.. ooops,,, one more,, don't say gay... its... lgbtq+ sorry, ok, now im done...... jojo
  12. do you have the coolant resvoir that is up on the stantion? if so, its good,, you can get one of those low cost funnels for filling radiators and it attaches to the tank like the cap, then you can fill the coolant up into the funnel, and run the engine and watch for bubbles in the coolant that is in the funnel..
  13. vocom II driver - MHH AUTO - Page 1 mhhauto.com Volvo Premium Tech Tool PTT VCADS 2.8.61 [2021 ... autopartscatalogue.net Volvo VOCOM 88890300 PTT2.03 software Free Download ... This is the system I am familiar with, and Premium Tech Tool.. I have used Nexiq, but never really liked it as much and at times I sucked at it... The Vocomm 88890300 has worked very well.. I do not own this system, but if you have a fleet or just want to get the best you can get without having dealership authority, I beleive this is it.. I hope we see more opinions, especially from the guys that are still at dealerships... jojo
  14. thanks for the update, Definately, fix what you know is broke first... jojo
  15. My first advice is to post pics of it so we all see what you have/ find any shop manuals you can find/ (i just bought 3 Midliner book's, from E-Bay recently)/ here's a big one..... find someone who is familiar with Midliners!!/ next, do youre research on parts vendors/ most of what I have done came from France/ they are very good trucks, and in my opinion deserve respect, but it is hard to get a team of players together to keep it in good repair.. Good luck, and keep in touch... jojo
  16. did you remove the radiator? I have only done a few, but they were out of the truck, yes I had to remove a bunch of stuff including the front mounted PTO, but when it was done I didnt have to re-do the workand I was able to check condition and to see if it was straight, and then of course the prep work is the most important step.. I have no magic words, just that... jojo
  17. So true, Mark !!
  18. I dont know, Mark,,,,, something had to 'suck' the air of the old guy in the picture, just sayin...
  19. Obama and Nancy P have been running this country since Biden was appointed....
  20. Bob,, I get it... I have similar concerns.. With crime on the rise, and it seem's like it within a certain population,, there is a real problem... we cant even go to the store without a real concern for who is walking in the parking lot.. Liberal , cop hating policies have empowered the group im talking about, and they dont care because they will be let out of jail in short time and go do it again.. it is only going to get worse... jojo
  21. it is unlike what you know in the older big trucks.. take the truck to someone that WILL plug into it and calibrate the clutch, cycle the shift forks in the tranny, and update the TCM.... that last one is probably Mack only.. You have a lot of knowledge about trucks, but unfortunately , like me and a bunch of others.... we cant do a damn thing if we are not a dealership with a $10,000.00 loaded computer that requires many updates to stay currrent... I run my own service truck and I use metal tools to make my living... I have a lot of knowledge about programming, but no interest at all in investing in it.. good luck sir,,,, jojo
  22. what specifically do you need to see?? it is bacially an 'R' model cab arrangement. jojo
  23. the clutch is operated by an air bag, the range of motion is measured by a sensor for the acuator .. to see it on the PTT screen t almost makes sence.. I have forgotten many of the fine points since ive been away from it for 4 years.. to me the bigger issue is the delete... these ECU's are very smart.. jojo
  24. sounds like a clutch actuator problem, and I bet the truck is 'deleted' and thats why MackVo wont touch it... I am sorry, but you are screwed.. even if you replace the clutch actuator yourself, you still need to have the clutch calibrated, and the TCM will need updates, and a learn data reset.. NO DELETE'S !! sorry sir... Jojo
  25. I saw a picture of a burned out car today... what caught my eye was that all 4 wheels were not on the car, and the car didnt look like it was being repaired prior to what ever burned it up.. I know i sound nuts, but , it just hit me that way.. jojo
