LOL say what? On March 6th, 2018 she sued Trump and Essential Consultants LLC (the company Cohen created and paid Daniels through) in an attempt to nullify the NDA since Trump never signed it. She said she began an intimate relationship with Trump in 2006 that ended a year later. She admitted to receiving $130k from Cohen (Essential Consultants LLC) in exchange for her silence. The NDA and other correspondence were admitted as evidence. Other pertinent evidence in that suit was Cohen's use of his Trump Organization email to arrange the wire transfer connected to the NDA. I'm guessing the prosecutor here is trying to prove Trump did in fact know about it and authorize it. They claim there is a mountain of evidence to suggest that is the case. Plus now there is this Karen McDougal woman, who was supposedly paid off as well. Maybe the knowledge of hush monies being paid are just one of their charges against Trump. Who knows. We will just have to wait and see.

There is nothing illegal about hush money per se. If the information being kept secret (a sexual affair) is not illegal then its A OK. However in this case since it involves Federal election laws and was paid to her from an "anonymous" LLC created by Michael Cohen and many other factors in this case it becomes very messy to determine if it was illegal or not on her end. My guess is she will never be investigated. If your trying to "get Trump" and she is a "credible witness" how would it look if she was indicted over the very same thing Trump is being tried for? What a complete clown show.....

John Edwards in 2011, less than 12 years ago? He was accused of the same thing. Paying off his mistress, during the 2008 Presidential campaign to keep it quite. He actually fathered a child with his mistress. I believe he was still a US Senator at the time of the affair. There were other charges included in the indictment relating to receiving donations exceeding limits set forth by the Federal Election Act, however, the main premise of the indictment was the hush money paid to Rielle Hunter. Were people loosing their minds when Edwards got indicted? Did anybody really care? After all the prosecutor, George Holding, was Republican. Was it petty politics then? The indictment came in 2011 long after the 2008 race was over and done so did it even matter? Was the North Carolina AG just trying to hold everyone accountable regardless of political status? If Trump would have decided not to run in 2024 would he have been indicted? Lots of questions I don't have the answers to. Just thinking out loud about a very similar precedent in very recent times. In the end Edwards was found not guilty on one count and the jury deadlocked on the other five because the prosecution could not prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Trump is innocent until proven otherwise. However, I think it will be very easy to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt in Manhattan, NY.

Remember John Edwards? The exact same thing and scenario happened to him in 2008. He was indicted in 2011, and faced a $1.5 million fine and 30 years in prison for 6 felony counts. He was ultimately found not guilty on misuse of campaign funds and a mistrial was found on the other five counts. There is almost no way Trump is getting a fair trial in Manhattan. I think he got less than 10% of the vote there. If the Justice system there has an ounce of credibility they need to move the trial to central or upstate New York.

I always heard the claw type called the elephant ear style? and yes the isolators are called elephant pads. Maybe I'm conflating the two names? In either case at least I now know where to jack from and by how much is necessary.

Sorry to keep beating this horse dead. But I was under my truck last night and snapped a quick picture. I edited it with a red blue and green arrows. Where is the proper location to place the jack in order to unload the bushing for proper greasing? Red, blue, or green? I notice the in the service manual illustration that was posted by MACKS it shows the "elephant ear" or outboard style trunnion stand. I have the newer style that is mounted inboard of the frame rails? Does that make a difference at all? I'm guessing not but just making sure.

I'm confused as to what's going on here. Did you prepay for all the machine work and he was refunding $1000 worth of head assembly he did not yet complete? Or was he admitting to not polishing the crankshaft and refunding $1000 for what he charged you for "polishing the crank"? Either way it doesn't matter, but I guess I'm just curious. If its the latter he basically admitted he didn't polish it.

I dump a quart of non detergent SAE30 motor oil in my tank every other fill up. I have also used regular, conventional 2 stroke oil as well. I do this in my antiques as well as my part time working 94 RD with mechanical E7 engine. I also did it with my Volvo tractor when I had it with a 1994 model year Series 60 Detroit engine. Obviously this won't help with fuel gel in the winter but helps to add some lubricity to the newer low sulfur fuel. I don't run my trucks in the winter so I'm not concerned about cold weather treatment. There is probably a more scientific or better method to use than dumping a quart in a 70 gallon tank every other fill up but that's what I do anyway. I could be throwing money away for all I know but that's what several old timers told me to do and it at least sounds good. I guess its better than nothing?

$198,000 for that KW bullnose seems like some sort of fantasy but I guess it is what it is. There are two completely restored examples parked next to one another at the Iowa80 truck museum. I stopped there on Saturday on my way back from Mt Rushmore. It an awesome collection and worth a stop if you’re passing by. You could probably spend an entire day there reading and looking at everything.

Nothing like being on a well pad when they are fracing. Six or so 12 cylinder diesels running wide open throttle. I used to haul sand into a lot of them. What an insane business.

Another thing to look for if the supply hose to the LDA checks out OK is the torque limiting valve (if you have one). If its faulty it could be permanently dumping your boost pressure to the LDA regardless of what gear you are in. I don't know if these fail and if they do what is their mode of failure is. You could check it by capping the line running from the manifold back to the transmission. This will take the torque limiting valve out of the equation for diagnostic purposes. If your sluggishness improves you might have a bad torque limiting valve. As I said before I don't know how common this really is though but easy to check.

Why on God's green earth would you want to maximize the amount of smoke coming out of your truck? Also, what year and what engine?

Why not call Watts Mack and start there? If any dealer can get it they can....

The previous owner of my B81 put "shop built" power steering on it from a much later year Mack R model. The steering column is not original to the truck so I assume its from the donor truck the pump and steering gear came from. My truck also has a 237 Maxidyne in it so mounting the pump was not an issue. Heck, maybe the my engine, steering column, and steering gear all came out of the same donor when I assume the original thermodyne engine gave up. I have no way of knowing as it was all done when I got it. It looks like a very "professional" install, but to the trained eye it is easy to see its not original to the truck. It works extremely well though turning that massive 12.00x24 rubber even when the truck is not moving.

I think the trucks and trailers start at the end of page 6. Lots of restored antique trucks and trailers. One of those sky high internationals, a really rare snubnose international, a Mack LTL, Mack LJ, and several other Paccar trucks. 2004 is port fuel injection. 2017 is most likely direct injection. Possibly something to do with that?
