  2. The elections are in a few weeks and don't forget to go to the polls and VOTE.
  3. It looks like the flag out of the hood was photo shopped.
  4. How did it make its way to a junkyard if it's worth so much to be sitting in a junkyard? Just saying? Just because it says what it says doesn't mean it's what it says it is. I'm just saying.
  5. Hate GPS. Tells you how to get there but you have no idea where your at.
  6. Now, now every idiot has a right to vote. It's the process of dumbing down American. First we'll help you with your ballot next they'll be telling you who to vote for. The dumbing down starts in our schools. Our youngest graduated or should I say he got a diploma for participating. A gold star for everyone. He wasn't taught anything about the Constitution. He left school with ZERO life skills. He can't read a ruler, balance a check book let alone write a check.
  7. It ain't OVER YET... More of the same crap today.
  8. IT'S ALL PLAIN AND SIMPLE BULL CRAP. This have all been noting more then a power struggle by the hierarchy and elitist in our government who think they are entitled to do our choosing. I have no sympathy for any of them. Ford and Kavanaugh allowed themselves to be put on stage and used as Pawns in the game of politics. Really the Supreme Court. The name alone Supreme conjures a vision of dominance over us all. The proceedings were a shame and it shouldn't have came as a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to what our country has become over the past few decades. It's a sad state of affairs, a disgrace and embarrassment to our country whichever side you chose. I'm not choosing sides and I don't give a crap. I don't have a dog in the race. I just struggle with the mess the government leaves us to deal with everyday. Do you really think any of these turds who believe themselves to be superior or supreme over us all care or give a crap about the hoi polloi? We are only considered deplorable servants who are left with the crumbs they chose to leave us after they pick the bones clean. The principles and values this country was founded on have been trampled and our founding fathers are surly rolling over in their graves.
  9. What the heck? Poor person he hit unsuspected out minding their own business and an idiot just plows into them. Was not the driver in the the passing lanes fault. Perhaps, he should have slowed further but who would suspect the idiot in the dump truck to do what he did. Clearly even if he gave the dump driver space or room it wouldn't have changed the outcome. The dump didn't notice the vehicles in front of him until a slit second before impact judging by the time his brake lights came on. Give credit where it is due at least the passing lane drive avoided getting involved in the collision.
  10. Attached (Mack Museum) drawing the way my CF-600 was wired when it left the factory. Someone made changes somewhere along to way before I bought the truck. I don't know who, when or why? I'm all for leaving well enough alone and if it ain't broken don't fix it. I'm not a electrical wizard but I can follow directions and a drawing. The best I can tell from researching and looking at the factory drawling the batteries were originally hooked up in series. I really don't need to know what to call it I just need know what works, should work or did work. Trying to sort it out but its confusing to me. I'm kind of flip flopping back and forth on what to do. I have to come up with a plan and stick to it. I might go back to the way the truck left the factory because at least it worked. if I hook it up back to the drawling I'll have something that is traceable and IT WORKED. I'm sure a lot of thought and engineering by smarter people then me devised a system that worked. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel. I just want to have a reliable vehicle that I can depend on to start and perform when needed.
  11. From the factory my CF-600 had two (2) parallel switches and four (4) 6 volt batteries and a 12 volt starter. I'm getting the information directly from the build sheet and wiring schematic provided to me for my truck from the Mack Museum. I'm a retired firefighter and I can remember all our CF-600's were all configured with four (4) 6 volt batteries.
  12. I like it to but for $85,000 I could learn not to like it so much.
  13. I can confirm my truck came from the factory with a 12 volt starter according to the build sheet provided by the Mack Museum. I don't suspect (why) anyone would have changed it to anything other then 12 volts. When you reference s/p switches do you mean parallel switches? The factory wiring schematic refers to the parallel switches as MAG. SW. If and when I chose to change the electrical system to negative ground would I be correct to assume the starter polarity won't have to be change?
  14. For that much I'd even throw in my stash of extra GMC COE parts I was planning on selling separately PLUS my 1953 Chevy Panel Truck.
  15. I'd like to know how you make plastic rust?
  16. I'm not me. I'm just a fellow Mack owner sharing some life's experiences, offering what little I've absorbed along the way in my thick skull to whomever might be interested.
  17. I have a 1953 GMC Cab Over Engine (COE) that has been left outside unprotected from the elements for at least 40 years. I was planning to build it into a ramp truck / car hauler but now that I have my Mack CF-600 Cab and Chassis Hauler I've decided to sell the GMC. I'm figuring by looking at the pictures above I shouldn't have any trouble getting $25,000 for my pile of rust. it's the real deal not fake rust.. It even has a broken window, no extra charge. Of course I'd be willing to negotiate and I'm open to any reasonable offer slightly less the my asking price.

  19. Tin foil hat or not. Its about power, control, politics and profit. There rich get richer, trample over and screw the little guy.
  20. The Government doesn't give a crap about the little guys. They are fast tracking 5G to support this type of Bull Shi_ taking away the right of local municipalities to refuse big business (telecom) from putting mini cell towers everywhere and anywhere they chose. On poles on front lawns in front of houses feet away blasting the homeowners and businesses with microwave radiation. In Pennsylvania our Legislators and the Public Utility Commission have taken away the rights of homeowners to refuse the placement and use of Smart Meters on their homes. If a homeowner refuses the Electric Companies demands to place a Smart Meter on their home Electric Companies are shutting off power to customers. Its happening we are having our right stripped at a fast pace. Smart Meters emit microwave radio signals up to one thousand times a day to the Utility Company tracking your electric use. The Utility can track you comings and goings, when your home and when your not. They can shut off your power remotely with out cause with the push of a button. Meter readers are no longer need and perhaps hundreds are losing their jobs as a result. Meaning bigger profits for big business. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
  21. New to the forum with my new to me repurposed 1972 CF-600 Cab and Chassis. The truck will be used for business and hauling around my Custom Built 1927 Model T Hot Rod to the Drag Strip and Auto Shows. Pictured we're hauling my sons off road Jeep. Thank for allowing me to participate.
