  5. I didn't poke around it much, I want to ask the owner's permission before I do, but it was a tractor originally because of the tapered frame rails. They were added to mount the dump body. Rears were not terrible heavy, maybe 38's, probably Timken's. Truck could probably be saved.

  10. Mike, On the air steering you could put a shut off in the line, turn the air off when you're out on the highway but you could turn it back on if you're doing "yard duty".

It was just brought to my attention, that since many more Pennsylvania bridges have been posted with weight limits, a bridge on route 501 between route 322 (Brickerville) and Newport Road, just north of Lititz, has a newly posted limit of 19 tons, 24 tons for combinations. A possible alternate may be 322 east to Clay Road south, onto Brunnerville Road. I will check that out tomorrow. Another alternate route is route 772 / Newport road west from Brownstown exit on route 222 (222 / 272 / 772 jct)

  15. I saw that too. It's definitely a Pelletier truck. Like so many others it is sad to see old long time relationships end. I hope that is not what happened here.

  18. The big Autocar sold for $90,000 at the RB sale today, I didn't catch who got it.
