  1. I ran one of those with a flat top sleeper and spoke wheels front and rear. Had a 425 Cat, pulling dump trailers. And another older one with a 380 Cat. But then they replaced the 380 with an E9 400.
  2. I always thought one would be a great tandem dump for doing home deliveries. Be able to get in anywhere. None in my area, but I have seen them in my old Bulldog magazines set up as tandem dumps. I just wouldn't want a new Terrapro.....have you seen the exhaust emission controls monstrosities on those things now???
  3. Canada's public health officer is Chinese. Go figure, LOL
  4. I always had good luck with them as loggers and dump trucks. Biggest issue was some minor cracks in the bottom of the dash near the floor. Here is the last one I ran that got sold for the 2013 Star. C15 550 Cat, and was set up for the box to come off and fifth wheel and headboard go on, tires off lift and go logging.
  5. Wow! Sweet CL. Is it an E9? How many rears are drives and lifts? Is B&B still in business?
  6. I think I read something about they were the same company Red Horse. Are these the same truck with different wheels and paint?
  7. Sharp looking truck though bbigrig. That stripe job looks nice on it.
  8. My favorite truck next to the old Mack's. I used to run a 6X6 Paystar 5000 like this building logging roads. And I owned an 05 Paystar 5600i. I also wonder about the specs of these I saw on the internet. Only info I could find is it was called Kong and was a 100 ton rotator.
  9. I miss spokes. There was always a sense of pride when you competed with your buddies on who could put their wheels on the straightest. LOL
  10. Larry Shinoda designed for White Trucks too Maxidyne? I did not know that. Any idea what models he worked on?
  11. Ya, hate to break the news to you AZB....but all your beloved American tractor brands are full of Japanese components, LOL John Deere has Yanmar power, Massey compacts are Iseki, New Holland/Case IH compacts were Shibaura but are now Korean LS. And Japanese is a hell of a lot better than Chinese and Korean tractors. Sorry I'm not more patriotic.....I just go with the winning team. And under 70 horsepower that is Kubota. Over is John Deere. Besides Kubota orange looks good parked beside my antique Allis Chalmers orange.
  12. That one here of H67ST's looks like it would be a nice one to put away and hand down to the kids.
  13. I wonder if they will ever become desirable antique tractors like the others years from now? I keep mine in good shape and don't think I will ever get rid of them. Would be nice to find one of the first early ones when they started selling them in North America.
  14. Right on. Thanks for the info Mike. What's it got for motor and trans? Pretty rare the way they dropped the frame to keep the trailer height normal. I hope you find a good home for it. Hate to see that go to waste.
  15. I have seen that site. I have saved quite a few pics and brochures from there. But thanks for posting. I wish there were more pics or history to be found from the Chatham Ontario Canada plant.
  16. My friend sent me this. I assume it is on facebook? He had no other details than this with the picture: Still waiting for the right person to adopt my one of 12 built, only one known left MH6122. Anyone know anything about this? What it was spec'd for?
  17. I had never seen or even heard of those.
  18. I really like the styling of those and the little Loadstar's. If I had the talent and money I wish I could put one of those old Loadstar bodies on my F550 chassis.
  19. Cool cranes. And great pictures Hurstscrambler! That blue Pinnacle tractor is pretty sharp looking too. Your picture looking down reminds me of something. My father was an iron worker and he was one of the ones that worked on the CN Tower with no safety harnesses back in the day. And built the super stacks at the mines in Sudbury. I couldn't follow in those footsteps. I didn't inherit the gene of being fearless of heights, LOL Good thing I fell in love with trucks the minute I was born, LOL I remember helping him build a couple mini-malls in town when I was young. They were only single ot 2 story. That was enough of that for me, LOL
  20. Welcome Shaggy. Are you just looking for what you need to know for your inspection/air brake endorsement stuff? Don't have any diagrams, but I'm sure we can point out the items to you that the testers and inspectors want you to know.
  21. The steel mill in the town nearest me caught someone that tested positive going through the gate. An outside contractor. The detectors at the security gate actually picked up his fever. And a mine north of me that my friend works at (and the one I was going to quit trucking and go work for) just started calling guys back to work a couple weeks ago and sure enough....now they found someone with corona working there. I already have asthma and lung problems. I'm staying home!! LOL
  22. Well, I know I now come to the BMT site for all my news and knowledge now! No BS, just real working men that make this world go around.
  23. Sweet! Here is the old one we had. 290 Cummins.
