  1. Well, I guess I did see them and just didn't realize. I'm used to planetaries have much bigger hubs.
  2. I'll have to dig up my old Bulldog Magazine's from when the Midliner came out and see if they show those axles.
  3. OK thanks. I would have never guessed that would be a planetary on that. Nice little truck. That would be handy as hell. I always wanted a rollback, but I had enough nightmares just trying to insure my F550 here in Ontario let alone a true medium duty. All the insurance companies told me "we can't insure it for personal use because it is a commercial vehicle, and we can't insure it commercial under your business because you are driving it for personal use." ????????????? LOL
  4. Do you have a pic Rob?
  5. A Midliner?? I never saw one of those with a planetary rear?
  6. OK thanks. I know Mammoet uses them on a lot of their heavy float tractors out west, but I wasn't sure what kind of speed they could be geared for on road.
  7. I kinda agree KS. While on this subject (I only have experience with low geared planetary rears off road) but are there speed restrictions with planetaries? Can they be used at highway speeds to 55 MPH?
  8. Not the suspension I would have guessed!
  9. Now if only they offered this while they still made their manual transmissions, the North American Titan and still offered the MP10. Then maybe they could have got back some of their Northern Ontario, and Quebec logging customers. Here's one installation from Con-Expo. Not my pics. Were sent to me.
  10. From one of my old full line brochures. I have pics of the big trailered belly dump unit but I don't know where I put them.
  11. Luckily I live out in the woods with no one around me and I have enough stuff to survive. So I hope all these stupid people die. The world needs to hit the reset button.
  12. Unless this is all orchestrated by the government, there should be penalties and restrictions served to the media for causing all this mass hysteria and panic for absolutely f#@!k all.
  13. Seriously, this is beyond sickening. What is going to happen if there ever was a REAL crisis? We're all doomed. The world is ending over flu. What would happen in a world war 3??? I just talked to someone here that works at Walmart in town. They open at 8 am but said when they show up for work at 7am there are already over 100 people lined up outside. For what????? My friend just went to the liquor store. Said it was packed shoulder to shoulder, people swearing at each other and the shelves all empty. And forget about finding any kind of paper product or food. And you can't even talk any sense to any of these idiots.
  14. Well, we're really in trouble here now. People are coming out of the beer store with 6 and 7 cases at a time! Won't be long before they are out too.
  15. Seen lots of pics of that truck. They did an awesome job restoring that. Just a beautiful truck. That used to be a sight when the Mack factory was still operating in Ontario, Canada where those were made and there would be a few of those lined up by the fence.
  16. I know what you are saying TS7. Not disagreeing. I. personally just don't get a lot from them. I find them distracting. But that's just me.
  17. Another truck I really miss......the CL700.
  18. Schools, stores, restaurants all closing around here. Crazy. If it takes 25*C to kill corona germs I'm screwed. It's still snowing here. LOL
  19. As long as you are not Mack, we will treat you equally! LOL
  20. That looks to be in very nice shape too. Too bad I wasn't close to you.
  21. Nice. I hope you got a good buck for it. Kubota's really hold their value. My antique tractor is an Allis Chalmers, but my new one is a Kubota. I wouldn't buy anything else.
  22. Here's the 4800 spec I am familiar with around here. Photo courtesy of Nova Truck Centres.
  23. Well, I ran from Indiana, across the 401 in Ontario though Quebec to Moncton, New Brunswick. Does that count? LOL I used to pull 4 axle van hauling Coca Cola and beer, and I used to haul RV trailers out of Indiana. I just recently went back to dump trucking because I'm not living in a truck for what you are making nowadays. And my tractor was paid for and it still sucked, LOL
  24. They bought a lot of farm land around here. And I don't mind it, because a lot of it was going to waste and they have a lot of good farm production going around here. And all by hand and horse. Pretty cool to see. But I kinda gotta laugh when I am working in those areas and their little kids are just starring at my Western Star and waving in awe, LOL I kinda like a lot of things about the way they live. Other than the not bathing part, LOL
  25. Sure gunna miss this when I can no longer get one.
