  1. My Friend, That is the Most Beautiful, Detailed H Model I have ever seen! I would love to see it in person! Great Job!
  2. I’m not sure about the 855 ether, i think the 220s came out in about 1959 (743 cu in ) I know that 743 block went on back , my 1951 LJ had a 200 Cummins, I’m with Brocky 855s probably early to mid 60s . I’m sure someone with way more experience than me will tell us.
  3. O Lord,, I would probably be almost done with My LJ if I hadn’t went down the Backdrop road,, I spent days at that old trucking co getting Backdrops off old Emeryvilles , and I have changed mine 3 times, looking for the perfect sound, and there’s not much room under a LJ cab , I don’t think one I tried is on that list, it was off a Emeryville also, No baffles, it turned out the side. The one with the baffles has a sound of its own! I’ll try to find a picture of it.
  4. I have 100% Confidence it’s going to be just fine!
  5. Great explanation of the backdrop! And the pictures are worth a thousand words! In my collection of backdrops, (4) I have one that the baffle is almost burned out,, they most have had the fuel turned up on that old 220 !
  6. Here are the H Model pictures my Dad had . Thanks for sharing all the Hard work you put into yours, These Trucks were New and you’re right there with them!
  7. That TWO WORD Statement is So True! And So Sad That World is gone!
  8. My Dad drove a H Model when I was born ( H-63 )Then a H-67 , I remember a picture of it new , I’ll find it and post it on here, he had several H 8x10s Framed . He drove for Hennis about 20 years. This is one of my favorites, look at the way the people dressed, very classy, the Lady has white gloves on !
  9. Yes , I put one on my H Model when I installed a Rollback bed, I just hung the pump from a cross member ( made a mounting bracket) ran a pto shaft with a slip joint from PTO to Pump , we also have a B Model dump with the same setup. I’m sure all the older trucks were the same setup. I don’t think the Pumps were mounted to the PTOs until the early 80s , I have 3 later 80s Superliners and the pumps are mounted directly to the PTO .
  10. It looks dang awesome! That is what a nice looking H Model would have looked like in the 60s ! Great job.
  11. They have worn out the “Supply Chain “ Excuse,, Kinda like McDonald’s Milkshake Machine “ Broken “ ,, Yeah Right!
  12. Interior is Red with all the gauges, it’s been repainted and the didn’t put the Statue of Liberty decal back, it’s a good running truck, it has a aluminum frame. , which is the worst part of the truck. I would still make a nice Freedom.
  13. I would love to take my Grandson to the Keystone Museum, it’s not that far away,, just to many projects, I would think about selling my Freedom Edition Superliner, I would like to see someone restore it and put it in a museum,, I’ll probably never get around to that project. I still use it, I’ll probably retire in a couple years .
  14. Sounds like he had some nice trucks . Thank you
  15. That Backdrop is so SWEET! Great job!
  16. Thanks for the History and photos, hopefully whoever buys it will bring it to some shows, I would love to see it.
  17. Very nice truck , I had never seen it before, thanks for sharing.
  18. Saw this LJ Sleeper with a Sleeper on Facebook a few days ago, Unsure what the b51 means,, Nice looking truck.
  19. That print looks pretty good, you should copy some, I would buy one, I watched a video on those Mack’s up there, I’ve been interested in them since I found out my LTH came from up there hauling equipment.
  20. It all looks good to me, like you said,, Drive it and have fun! That backdrop looks awesome!
  21. My 87 Freedom Superliner has Aluminum rails and steel in front. I’m not sure about the aluminum front options.
  22. My Son had a Superliner that used that same bumper, he got one at the local Mack dealer,,, I remember it was pricey!
