  8. Where was it bought from? Color.? I have a 87 Freedom Superliner.
  9. Worked on the dash some today,I’m still looking for a air PSI gauge and Fuel//Amp gauge if anyone has ideas, going to use them for now, they work but numbers and letters are coming off , still making progress.
  10. Have you been able to tell the difference in the “ Backdrop “ and a regular center drop? I’ve reved mine up some , I can’t really tell, I don’t have a stack on it yet. Your going to turn heads for sure!
  11. I bet that felt REWARDING!
  12. That’s a great idea, It’s originally almost flat when you push the pedal all the way down, My ankle won’t bend that much, lol ! I know what you mean about melting,, I get in about 5 after Trucking all day and try to work on mine a little, about 30 minutes of heat is all I can stand. We are making good progress in the last year, Thanks again for the motivation!
  13. Yes I was Grateful to get the NOS parts! ,, My help usually has Boots on ,lol . He was slack yesterday 😎
  14. I put my help to work today,, it’s handy working inside a cab at 4ft tall! Got Some NOS Parts , A steering wheel, never been installed, a Speedo still in Cosmoline , with 1/2 mile on it and a NOS oil psi and temperature gauge,, I’m still looking for a Fuel and Amp gauge in decent shape, my numbers and letters have fallen off .
  15. Got a few hours more today, mat is in and put retainers in all the original holes ( hopefully I won’t have to drill any holes for any thing, already has twice as many as it needs) Got my fuse box mounted , I’m getting close to installing dash. And start wiring.
  16. I’m not a expert on the C , I talked to some guys at the show in Macungie back in 2000 that built them, they told me about using existing parts, having some made , I think they hand made the hood. Hopefully someone will know a lot more about them . Not sure how many was made or how many are still around, Hennis bought a few, Dad drove this when new . I got a little time this morning to put the Firewall mat in the LJ, got to get me some more retainers and tuck it up tight. And YES, walk in my shop and take your pick of what to work on!
  17. Got my Firewall Mat today, hopefully I’ll get a chance in the next couple of days to install it so I can start wiring. Had to take a Detour from the LJ ,, The C Model needs a Water Pump,, There’s NEVER a Day goes by around here that You don’t have Anything to do !
  18. You have went Far and Beyond a “ Normal Restoration “ Thank you for Sharing every step of the way with all of us!
  19. That looks great! The LJ is setting with water in it , I’ve started it a few times but haven’t got it hot with pressure,,, It has the original core , so we will see how that turns out. Hopefully your on your way to the next phase now!
  20. Keeping Fingers Crossed,, we all know how aggravating something like that can be!
  21. The Lizard Skin sprayed all inside and under,, then DynaMat the firewall good is definitely the way to go as Matt did his B73 . I put DynaMat on my Freedom Superliner,, it helped but still louder than I like.
