i was at moms most of the day. we were discussing all matter of things, and ukrain came up. she was talking bad about russia, because the demonrat controlled tv news bad mouths russia. she was commenting on all the dead bodies in the streets, destroyed buildings blah blah blah. i opened the phone and showed her the stack of bodies in body bags in the street news shows. with the close ups of "dead bodies" smoking cigarettes. than i showed her the bombed out buildings in ukraine as per news, and the same exact photos of the same buildings in detriot, chicago, and portland. she could not believe the news media could be so deceitful. until i showed her the evidence.

my thoughts are Putin is doing the world a favor by eliminating all the biological chemical weapons labs in ukraine, and showing the world how ukraine is the american demonrats secret playground for all things illegal.

i got 8 12-24.5 roadmasters in January and they were made in america. also made end of december 21. the central Jersey cooper dealer is rite next door to the current big truck shop.

i do try to keep it clean, but there is only so much i can do. i am usually hooked to a trailer and loaded with machines. this makes it very hard to get to the garage to wash it.

my bossman in constantly getting on my case about the truck being dirty on the outside. but you can eat off the floors inside. i wipe the inside down at least twice a day. and clean my boots before getting in. outside is a different story. one trip into a quarry at 5 mph and it looks like it has not been washed in 6 months. why? because all the askwholes that run by the ton go 50 in the quarry and kick up tire spray that will get a truck 100 foot away dirty. they simply are too freakin stupid to realize if you see dust, you are going too fast. and the only reason the water trucks keep the roads soaked is because they speed and create massive dust clouds. then they get out on the road and speed, run the left lane and shoulder, run red lights, roll over, run over cars, spill loads all over the place, blah blah blah. and bitch about the cops busting their balls instead of going after criminals.

and really good when a toolbag stops traffic in the left lane of a two lane to cut off someone 200 foot before the right turn with his window open. this is when you lay into the throttle on your pre emissions truck and fill his car up with heavy black smoke...😁

this is one of those things that can best be answered with: whatever someone is willing to pay for them. i have seen two identical part sell for $50, and $500 on the same day, 100 foot apart. difference was the $50 guy was only willing to pay that and seller wanted to get rid of part. the $500 guy just knew he had gold, and the buyer had more money than brains.

i used to run between 500 and 700 miles a day with the other company. this was in a 12 hour day. my average there was 125,000 miles per year. the past 12 years i have averaged between 50 and 200 per day. if i am dragging the trailer and machines around, it is on the low side. if i am milling and paving it will be higher, 150 to 200 per day. here i put around 30,000 miles per year on the truck

unfortunately with todays trucks you really can't fix them without first plugging a computer in. the 2016 ha da check engine light on for close to 45,000 miles. ran perfectly, but had the light on. we sold it last week so i took it to a friends shop to see what was triggering the light. the freaking outside air temp sensor was bad, and turned on the CEL . that sensor has absolutely nothing to do with truck operations, it is simply there to tell the steering wheel holder it is cold outside, put on a jacket before getting out.

simple. it iscalled demonrat mathematics. there are 40million unemployed in the country. but only .04% are COLLECTING unemployment. so unemployment rate is .04% as for the 430,000 increase in jobs, the demonrats lifted stay at home rules so 430,000 people went back to the jobs they already had instead of working from home. so 430,000 increased jobs. real world mathematics tells you the unemployment rate is 40%, and there is still a 45% decrease in jobs because employers are replacing low level food service employees and cashiers with computer terminals so they do not have to pay $15 per for a brain dead highschooler that can not do math without a calculator and has the attention span of a goldfish.. 😁

old company used to love recaps. brand new trucks had caps put on the rears before they even got lettered. we averaged 20-25k miles on the caps. the guy i have been with for the past 12 years flat out refuses to have caps in the yard. the cooper dealer gives us $125 for the cores last time i got tires. but then again, we replace tires when they got down to around 5,000 miles left on them. and we also do not hit things or sidewall rub tires either.

yup, same here. 60,000 on the steer axle, 50-55k on the rear axles. i rotate rear axles front/back every 10k miles for even wear pattern. yes in hurts a little paying for 8 tires instead of 4 at a time, but i prefer having same wear on the rears instead of front axle 50% and the rear damn near bald.

yes it was, but i would not trade the memory of those days for anything now. i truly believe those days are what made us what we are today.
