  1. we have a 2011 F550 with 6.7 engine. the DEF injector has been changed 4 times already due to crystallization on the tip. when it does not inject DEF, it goes into de-rate and cuts engine power to 25%. and it just barely moves. we have been waiting for the new truck for 9 months now. 1 of the two was just delivered friday, but it is getting the service body instead of the dump body because the service truck just ate an injector thursday afternoon on the way home. .
  2. once the smurf pee reaches a certain level, a sensor in the tank will shut the truck down (so i am told). we have not had any supply issues yet, and i currently have 245 gallons in the shop. that should last around 6-7 months .
  3. i am safely 860 miles east of you. i heard about it this morning and it sounded like a real mess
  4. agreed 1000% and those are the people that are making our roads deathtraps, and making truckers look bad. they wreck and kill someone, oh well, they just skip and go somewhere else.
  5. watch it, that kind of talk is now considered racist by snowflakes!!! that is why snowflakes are not allowed here.
  6. drive out, load car on back, and drive home. i don't fly, my arms are not that strong any more due to arthritis.
  7. never happen Bull. besides, i don't think the forum will let someone with an india, bangladash, or pakastan ip address even join.
  8. ain't no killer virus. the jab is the killer. you want to live, you have to get a refill jab whenever they decide it is time to buy another dozen learjets or tropical islands. remember the super deadly Botswana variant last week? then a few days later Botswana said what you talking about, no one here has tested positive in over a month. next day we had the super deadly omicron variant.
  9. Yall got to remember though, the libtards do not believe in history. So anything they say is the truth in their minds, even though there are books from 50+years ago to prove them wrong.
  10. i wonder how many people know if a family member dies and is "vaccinated" the insurance company can deny all claims related to the death? it is now in most insurance policy they are not responsible for reactions to voluntarily taken drugs. and the "vaccine" is considered a voluntarily taken drug
  11. better yet. spray pepper spray or mace on said mask then tell us how good it works! 😁
  12. They will use them new trucks powered by fairy dust and unicorn farts.
  13. a friend of mine has a 70's dm with planetary rears in it. originally a V8 truck, but when the V8 blew up back in the 80's they put a 1710 V12 cummins in it. rig has 14-24 tires on it. hauls a 100 ton trailer with 12 foot wide 30 foot long double drop deck. empty the combined weight of truck and trailer is 87,000 lbs.

  15. because he is a liberal !@#$ %O^#_@. that gives him a stay out of jail card.
  16. there is plenty out there, but they are going after the set armorer. not the people that brought the gun on the set and loaded it and then used it to shot beer cans and left the loaded gun laying around.
  17. there are still a few deutz diesel powered diamond reo "ainteaters" running the road here in joisey. but it seems like each year i see fewer and fewer. i only recall seeing one this year running. there is a recycling yard in kearney that had 3 a few years ago for sale. i have not been there in a while, so i don't know if they were parted out or exported as he sells A LOT of older trucks and machinery to overseas buyers.
  18. Depending on year of the truck, it is probably relays energizing as the computer comes on line.
  19. nope, not true. Volvo discontinued the V8 because they wanted to use their engines.
  20. there was a lumber mill here in New Jersey that owned a steam loco they used to transport the lumber from their mill on the Delaware river east about 25 miles to their yard until the mill closed about 25 years ago. they also ran tourist excursions once a month.. i don't know what happened to the loco or cars, but the rail line is still there. it is pretty overgrown, but still there.
  21. i prefer the sound of a 71 or 92 series. the 53 series has a different note to the exhaust.
