  1. Not mine.If the 16K worth of bids were legit on your auction that tells you what the market is for your truck, simple as that.May as well keep it and enjoy it if you won't sell it for that
  2. No, it will still be a nice "driver" at that point. Restored is a word that's tossed around FAR to easily these days.Restored is just that, fully taken apart and each component restored as NEW.Here's a few examples, your truck is nice don't get me wrong but it is what it is.
  3. I'd put that truck in the 15 price range also.Nice old truck but not restored, and I believe the funky styling(and Cummins) limits the buyer the way the nose is designed.
  4. I've seen this truck on the road over the years. Why would sell it after having it that long?I think will regret letting ot go for sure!
  5. Sorry to hear he is ill,but he is a bit crazy imo.He seems to believe they WANT peace
  6. You guys in CT sure about no CDL?Good friend of mine lives there and they are telling him he MUST get one due to the weight, they don't care about how it's registered or insured.DMV,State Police and DOT are telling him this!
  7. Not a bad lookin ole truck.Let us know how she runs!
  8. Your doing great! That would be a great truck for local work, shame you couldn't haul much "legally" in CT.
  9. Not sure about truck show's,but hear they have a big boat parade if ya catch my drift!
  10. Those LT's sure are nice.My favorite is a toss up between those and a long hood B!
  11. Can't believe how nice the frame is on that truck, and the cab mounts too!
  12. Good looking truck,i'd really like a six wheeler 75 someday myself.
  13. Guess it didn't stay in the "collection" too long lol.
  14. Only getting 250-300K out of a 237,what kind of abuse and neglect were they seeing?I've seen many go 500-700K and at times nearly a mil without an overhaul!CATS were a true high miler also.Cumaparts while a good engine had nowhere near the longevity.
  15. As much as I love Macks,I've owned mechanical 300-350's as well as CATS from the era.As a previous poster said there really is NO comparison.Anyone saying they "walked" over 425s or even were about equal is quite frankly full of it IMO.
  16. 165 Macks, been contacted by A&E yet?Why not sell a 150 or so and do a couple restorations?Seen it over and over in the collector car world, people horde dozens of rusty relics never to have any "done".Always kept saying someday, someday until it was too late for them or the cars.
  17. Nice to see you got it on the road!52 aint bad, lets you enjoy the scenery!
  18. Would love to make an offer on this truck, just wish it was a little closer to me!
