  1. kind of sounds like both the pp1 and pp7 valves need replaced. and checkthe out let hoses for mud dobber gunk
  2. to be fair since cummins was the originator of the jacobs eng . brake their design produces the most usable braking hp of any engine that I know of . supposedly if you have 500 pulling hp then you have 500 braking . i am told that the 60 series detroits are almost the same . we have one of those to and it works
  3. we have a tandem mack rollback and a 2000 vision .the vision has the 460 eng rollback has e6 350` both are properly tuned neither is as effective as a 3406b loaded heavier` and no where near as effective as a 350 cummins. I should add. that the e6 350 has genuine jacobs set set up not positive what the 460 is
  4. I`m sure i`ll get pounced on for saying this but if i were you i would save the 12-1500.00 dollars for something more useful
  5. obama made off with the last two brain cells that joe had

  8. that would be a spade working in that rock pile, quite a loader thats at least a 50 ton haultruck . this is a 992c older machine. i think the one first pictured is a 992k mislabeled
  9. fertilizer & manure spreaders
  10. those guys on the radio tower make my teeth itch
  11. after reading all thats been said if that motor ran any appreciable amount of miles whoever put it together had a pretty damn good idea of what he was doing
  12. the t-50 and vt 50 were oem prior to the holset line . was likely the original and likely rebuilt at some time. when the pulse manifold was introduced along with the holset turbo the 50 series just kind of faded out
  13. you are very right, at about 50 more rpms the valves & pistons catch up to each other, when that happens you have a scrap pile. and that looks like a cummins vt-50 turbo
  14. gxbc do you know john redman? is he still in business?
  15. how did the bucket leveler survive all these years?. thats usually the first thing that gets knocked off
  16. when did mich start allowing lift axles
  17. this was basicly a cabless dump truck that you drove facing the dump end . they did not have hydraulics so you drove the thing toward the pile or where ever you were hauling to when you got where you wanted to dump you declutched it and stood on the brakes and hauled back on a huge lever, that and your momentum is what dumped the thing.
  18. that could be another name for it, I hav`nt seen one for over 40 yrs. I think euclid made one
