  1. Needs a little work, but for that price you could make a nice tractor out of her.
  2. We'll as the title says it was a crazy christmas. Parker had to have emergency surgery christmas morning, so we had a short lived christmas so to speak. It started on thursday when he started throwing up. We thought he had just got a little virus or something, but it turned into a very bad next few days. We had him at the clinic and they said it was acid reflux, then the hospital said it was a small virus. We took him for a third time to the hospital on christmas eve and I demanded something done immediately or they was gonna have a very bad christmas. They rushed him by ambulance to Childrens Medical center in knoxville, and they said the food was only setting on his stomach and not passing through his digestive system. They told us 1 out of 40 boys will have this problem. The surgery only took about 45 minutes, but man it kills you seeing your 1 month old son having an I.V. put in his little hand. Other than that though we got to spend our holiday together as a family. See Ya guys
  3. Would be nice to see florida this year, but the traffic would be awful.
  4. Merry Christmas from Joe, Amber, Parker & Paxton. Hope everybody has a wonderful christmas and a happy new year.

When I get home I'll check it out. I can't even look at youtube on this computer. I'm sure you can get down with the shifting like freightrain does. You probably have your own style of doing it like I would.
  6. Glad to see you won in the christmas parade. Glad to see you'll be off until after christmas also. I seen alot of trucks traveling the interstate this morning on my way to work. Time to watch a "A Christmas Story" on tbs again, every christmas it on for 24 hrs. I gotta work christmas night, but that's ok because everyone will be asleep. Can't believe 2008 is already around the corner though, man this year has flown by for sure. See Ya buddy.

Not sure if it works, this stupid work computer is still acting crazy.
  8. Yeah he's fine now, but He's definetly gotta lay off the double clutching for awhile..lol
  9. That's right I've been a dad for 3 weeks today and lovin every minute of it. Other than a few sleepless nights and belly aches everything has been going great. We was pretty sad for the first couple of days because we found out paxton's left hip did not set up the right way. They told us if it didn't get better they would have to dislocate it then reset it. Man you talk about upset the only thing I could do was worry and cry. Good news though it won't have to be done, they had a follow up appointment and everything was fine. We've done figured out that paxton is daddy's baby and parker is mommies baby. When I get in from work paxton whines until I pick him up and only me. He likes to sleep right up against me in the bed. Parker on the other hand is momma's baby, but likes for daddy to love on him to. It seems like they have grown so much in such little time though it's unreal. They are up to 4 ounces a feeding now compared to the 1 1/2 ounces they was at after their birth. They seem to enjoy the sound still of daddy's truck, my wife says when I come home their eyes start wondering around trying to find me. We're also having problems with their new milk they put them on, their staying up longer from their stomach hurting and when they get to sleep they will wake up all of the sudden with this blood curlding scream. It got so bad one night they actually stayed up all night till they couldn't hold their eyes open any longer. Twins is a true blessing all around, a little more work, but still the best thing in the world. It's hard to believe that you can love 2 babies so much and you've only known the for 3 weeks, but I love them with all my heart. We'll guys gotta go and phone in to check on them. All this talking about them is making me miss them.
  10. Sorry James I've been busy, but I'll update shortly.
  11. Everything's fine, just trying to keep these kids fed. They are up to 4 ounces a feeding, fed 6 times a day, that's 24 ounces per baby x 2 makes it a hell of a lot of milk. and at $30.00 bucks a can the old paycheck don't have far to go. Sorry to go off track, but I've never been to canada but my aunt and uncle took a few loads up there and they actually took the mattress out of the sleeper. My other uncle we'nt to canada for a vacation and the had to be flown out to a cabin 60 miles from civilization. When they drop you off they tell you they'll be back a certain day and that's exactly what happened. Me and dad never had to tarp loads, but man they would unload it in just a swamp like area and set it in the biggest mud hole they could find. I don't blame you for putting it as rusted when loaded, saves your a$$. Just another fine week in truckin' makes you wanna pull your hair out sometimes, but i loved it and can't wait to get started.
  12. I noticed you hadn't posted on your blog yet and figured you was working a little longer than usual. It's the same way when you go into canada, they go through everything on your truck and in your truck. I don't get that either they make you tarp the load before they will accept it but set it off in a mud hole or drag it through the mud to move it. I guess you get a short weekend this week? Never enough home time I always thought, but the bills will always be there. See Ya JOE
  13. Decorate it to your liking and be done. Sounds like they have a pretty nice parade there though. Changing it every year, down here in town they just let anybody and everybody join in. It's really nice seeing a bunch of drunks runnin' around in straight piped jeeps using profane language to hollar at half dressed women all around little kids of course. Our town has wen't to hell in a hand basket, but it would be nice to go to one like the one you attend. I like a change of pace. See Ya Buddy.
  14. A buddy of mine pulls flatbed all the time and he was somewhere a couple of weeks ago when the wind was picking up heavy and when he got the tarp unstraped and climbed on the trailer the wind picked and nearly pulled him off the trailer. Bad weather to be doing this kinda stuff, but the bills don't go away on their own. That sound's like the typical newbie driver passing you like that knowing perfectly well that he's putting his life and others in danger. What I don't get if a JB Hunt truck is goverened to 65 mph "Not sure though" Do they think they have to do the 65 in a 45mph zone? Wide open all the time is what they do and risking our lives and theirs to play stupid. Sorry for ranting a little, but anyway I bet your ready for the parade? I would be too. Good luck in the parade.

    Cheswick

That reminds me of when me and dad wen't to georgia once with a load of steel for a truck shop and we found the exit then it said turn right off the exit go down 2 lights etc., but when we turned right we wen't down this little highway with nothing around. Finally got turned around wen't across the interstate and everything started matching the directions, but then noticed again we found ourselves on a 2 lane highway. I got the flashlight out started checking addresses finally found our drop off spot, but it was a house? We checked the address on the mailbox 2 or 3 times and that was it. Turns out we had to take a loaded T-600 kenworth and 48' foot flatbed in this guys back yard, which I might as well mention was not graveled because it had been to wet for dump trucks to get in. It wasn't as bad as your experience other dog, but we had a hell of a time getting in this driveway luckly the trailer tandems were sliders and we slid the fifth wheel up so we could make the turn. We made it in and out fine, but man they put you in some bad spots. When we was hauling that steel the would send you out in the middle of nowhere and tell you to call when you got close to get your directions, which 9 times out of 10 was always wrong. Sorry to go on. See Ya..
  16. Oh believe me they are gonna know what trucks are. I like the Joseph William Paul Van Thomas Scott, just if I could talk my wife into it! Good thinking by the way...lol. The way they jerk their hands around you would think their trying to shift a tri-plex. By the way their names are Parker & Paxton, but I still like your names you have picked out though.
  17. Well guys it's friday and they are know 5 days old. Still growing it seems like. I've probably got about 5 hours of sleep in the past 2 days, but that's because paxton had gas that he couldn't pass, but other than that everything is great. Thanks for the compliments JOE.
  18. Thanks Barry for posting these pictures for me. Going from left to right on the first picture is Parker weighing in at 5 pounds 2 ounces & on the right is Paxton weighing in at 5 pounds 11 ounces. Thanks for the compliments guys, and they're gonna be mack enthusiasts for sure. Gotta go guys bottles to fix and babies to feed.
  19. I'll put it this way they are like their daddy they eat like little pigs lol. Both are boys, and I think I'll have to invest in food lion stock just to keep up.
  20. Alright guys I e-mailed Barry the photos, and hopefully I done it right. I'm gonna pm him right now abou it. Be watching for them. Thanks Joe.
  21. Thanks alot guys. I'll e-mal barry the photos so he can post them for me.
  22. We'll guys they are both here safe and sound. They was born sunday evening. One was 5 pounds 11 ounces, the other was 5 pounds 2 ounces. Both are eating like little pigs and doing great. I ws wondering can some one send me their e-mail address so I can mail you the pictures to be posted up. I'm slow at learning this stuff and this computer is too slow for me to wait. Thanks JOE
  23. Thanks guys.... Forgot to mention they're here. Fixing to start another blog so stay tuned.
  24. Well I just got off the phone with my wife and they are fixing to transport her by ambulance to the hospital to monitor her. She's at the small in town hospital, but they want her over at Fort Sanders Medical center where she see's the specialist. I'm patiently, but nervously waiting for another gaurd to get here to relieve me. If you guys don't hear anything for a day or 2 it's because we are over there and there's limited internet access. Just keeping everyone updated and will continue when I can.
