I was going to go to Altavista and get a new serpentine belt,a battery,and a K&N filter cleaning kit for the pickup today. First I had to get another checkbook because I wrote the last one in the old one Saturday morning...except I didn't have any more. Don't know why I didn't notice the last one was the last one in the box.Maybe I thought the two empty boxes that I didn't throw away were full of checks. Got in too late to go to the bank Friday night,so my paycheck is still in the box at the shop...no checks,no cash,garden's drying up and dying-think there's still some beer in the cooler outside though...might as well I guess.

cleaned all my grill grates this morning-food prolly won't taste right for a while since I cleaned all that stuff off that looked like 5th. wheel grease-in fact,that's what I did with it,greased the 5th. wheel.

All this got started when my son was here yesterday and was looking at image results for beavers. I told him to turn the safe search off and see what happened.That's when we saw that cartoon so I told him "save that for me".

H.H.Moore was getting 9 speeds for a while,all direct drives. The 83,84,and 85 K100's I drove all had 9 speeds with 3.70 rears.Then he bought one IH conventional with a 350 cummins that had some odd ball nine speed. Don't know what model it was but it had 4 speeds in the low side and 5 in the high side which was opposite of the ones I drove. -
Oh,well then,that changes everything-and he's been to Hooters. I've only been once,in York,Pa. about 10 years ago.

man, y'all lost me a long time ago! If the 9 speed is already an overdrive transmission and a 13 speed wouldn't help,I think i'd go get some take-out rears with a lower ratio (higher speed),unless it's some off the wall odd ball rear in the first place, and change the whole rear instead of trying to change the gears in it. huh?..now i've confused myself...hate when that happens -

I lost my wife 5 years ago-20 years married and not even an argument. But,my oldest son and his wife and kids were here yesterday.We cooked and had a great time,today my youngest son and his fiancee came...we cooked ribs and chicken and had a great time
