  1. I don't even like those 20" (I guess-I don't know what size they are really) wheels on a classic car, like this Olds or the otherwise perfect looking 68 or 69 Chevelle I saw the other day-the wheels ruin it for me,needs some Cragar SS's or Keystone classics on it. Must be like putting broken pieces or rubber straps down through the steps on a truck, there's just no logical explanation for it.
  2. fine then,i'll just get out of the way.

  3. Rats!..that was gonna be my plan, use it to fix the roads...maybe be named to a high ranking position by c.e.o. Randy, with lots of young, nubile, busty assistants...but once again i'm too late. Guess all I can do now is invest my total net worth of $7.43 into the company, because I do believe in it strongly.
  4. uh...if you could spare just one of your staff members to be my assistant, the one standing far left looks most qualified to me.
  5. Transcraft once had the reputation of building some of the best flatbeds. They bought several new Wabash flats when I was at H.H.Moore's and they were flimsy pieces of crap.
  6. good thing you got that wheel tied down-wouldn't want it blowing away into the corn field. Nice work on the tractor!
  7. 4. none of the above

  13. I remember those days well- all photos courtesy of http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/trucks.htm
  14. Thanks Mike- see, that's what happens when you're not here to guide us!
  15. A lot of trucks used to run 29 to Danville,58 to South Boston, then 360 to Richmond out of the Carolinas for that very reason, instead of I-85 to I-95. Branch trucks always ran 360. If you take 360 from South Boston up to Wylliesburg, turn on rt. 15 south towards Clarksville-right across from the Tastee-Freez- and McGuire is about a mile or so on the left. Never seen any old Macks sitting around, but i've never stopped to look either. By the way, i'm taking my vacation the first week of August. Hope to go to Lincolnton,N.C. to the ATHS show July 31. Nocluejoe might go too. He came up here and stayed a couple of days last summer. Not sure of his plans this year.
  16. Sorry Rob-no offense, but scantily clad babes tops clowns every time.
  17. You shoulda stopped by,Drakes Branch is a stones throw from here- if ya got a really good arm...but then you could play for the Yankees. We used to haul a lot of Lumber out of Drakes Branch when I drove for H.H.Moore, had loads going to Cortland,N.Y. and Meadville,Pa. pretty regularly. Can't remember the name of the sawmill, but it's probably the only one there.
  18. Didn't know Larry let his G/F drive it-he must have been up in the trailer sleeping.
  19. that's millions with a "B" probably. I'm out grilling for the 3rd. day in a row.I like it though. We gave all the leftovers to the "guests" Saturday and yesterday. It's in the upper 90's here now,90's tomorrow, and supposed to hit 100 again Wednesday.Garden looks terrible.
  20. ??? this one?..I dunno
  21. I look around every time i'm around the Canton area, but never seen it yet. When I do i'm gonna flag him down and see if he'll sign my hat or something.
  22. Here's some of Rowdy's winners from years past- his first car-2006 his first homemade "snowmobile"-2007 his last car, before going all truck-2008.
