  1. It was raining when I took this, but it's still a much better picture.
  2. great pictures Randy! After getting calls, e-mails, and several letters to the editor in the local paper about how I needed a hobby,I decided to take up basket weaving. I emptied the vacuum cleaner bag and got all the dog hair out and made this basket out of it,but it was boring! You've inspired me to do photography as my new hobby, f^*# basket weaving!
  3. might have been those Trojan Magnums if it was that big...
  4. The price is right-and it's got a V8!..we all know there's nuthin' like a V8 Mack.
  5. Thought that looked like a Miller unit. They're in Ohio, right where rt.14 crosses I-86. That looks like where this picture was taken, coming from the road that goes to their yard onto rt. 14. If it is there's a fuel stop just ahead of the truck on the right where i've stopped a few times.
  6. I have heard on talk radio shows that there is enough oil in the U.S. to last for 100 years at the present rate of consumption, also that with today's technology they could get as much oil out of wells that have been closed for years as they got out of them before they were closed.
  7. time to start this truck and get going.

      the mixer I mean,when it wouldn't start.

  8. New they'd reopened the Shenandoah- didn't know it was reclosed already. Used to be famous for the commercial beavers that worked there!
  9. Thank you-hope I never do anything to piss you off. By the way, do they sell those missile systems at the Wal-Mart? I might wanna get me one.
  10. It does taste like watered down water, but I gotta work tomorrow so i'm taking it easy, only gonna have a few-besides,I ain't as young as I once was.
  11. Well said.
  12. Now you can take a picture of somebody with a phone when they're minding their own binness and post it on the internet in a matter of minutes...like this one of me a few minutes ago.
  13. I remember that truckstop but I don't think I ever stopped there. Seldom get across that part of 70 now. I think that's the same as the truckstop in Newcomerstown on 77, north of I-70. I stop there a lot. I used to stop at Crazy Ed's in Niota,Tn. a lot too-another old time type truckstop. The barbecue there was really good, but same story-gone.
  14. I had the truck at home this weekend, been cleaning on it a little on the inside since it looked more like a pig pen than a truck, and cleaned the side boxes out some. Started it this morning to do something and noticed the alternator wasn't charging at all. It was charging yesterday,so I opened the hood and the fan belt was laying across the frame, broken. Luckily we always carry a spare. That was the best time and place for it to break though, it was way better than putting one on on the side of the road with a flashlight!
  15. We used to haul lumber from Drakes Branch,Va. to Cortland,N.Y. and there was a diner with truck parking back south on 81 one or 2 exits from where we delivered. They unloaded early there and i'd always go to that diner for breakfast. The food was great, plenty of it, and cheap! Last time I was up that way the whole place was gone-just like it had never been there. Probably a Pilot or something there by now,I don't know.
  16. Good to hear of an honest man doing you right.
  17. That's a great idea David. Hatcity said the same thing. It actually printed out good.
  18. I know I shouldn't,but can't seem to help myself... A. I have no idea-but I have had situations where I was lacking a couple of inches and made up the difference by other means. B. I don't know. C. I have no clue. D. I would disregard this and wait for Herb or James to reply...sorry for wasting everyone's time-I must be off.
  19. I love you Randy, in a non-faggity kind of way! I'm very proud of rhasler and co-author otherdog's (that's me) masterpiece. I felt I needed to preserve it.
  20. Wow! when I was at the mill Thursday loading another 60' Ambridge load that had to be tarped (in the rain and wind) another of our drivers was there loading for Boca Raton. Whatever she's selling, i'll buy one!
  21. you just keep rubbing it in...nice pictures though!
  22. Had one-printing stuff and putting it in notebooks and saving it. I'll look into finding a new one
  23. It's really getting out of hand in some places-
  24. Jeff called me a few minutes ago. Told me he saw this truck and thought about me, in case I wanted to go bid on it I guess. I told him if he bought it, i'd drive it. http://www.taylorandmartin.com/PublicViewUnit.aspx?UnitKey=2d0feR%2b28l2%2fT7OiMPHkBpSRvLt%2fWZU2l7rmizlbnFZ4zV04Is3QfJrgu76jIakXQr%2fT0Vzbh0idWr6D4AK3XA%3d%3d
