  1. This could be the funniest thing i've seen on BMT!..or not.
  2. No, wait, this just might be the new "funniest thing i've ever seen on BMT", and there's been a lot of them.
  3. Thanks Vlad, great story and pictures. Like 41 chevy said, it looks way different than I thought. That could pass for many places in the U.S. People are pretty much the same all over, and want the same things, just the gummint is different.
  4. That just might be the new "funniest thing i've ever seen on BMT", and there's been a lot of them.
  5. Guess that answers my question too- Doug Maney is very wise indeed.
  6. Well, gee- sorry Olive. I have heard of them there "tarp" things. I've even used them before, but never thought to cover that cement mixer truck with one! ...and no, I took a few more pictures before David got there- again, without permission or authorization, so I was skeert to post them.
  7. I got these 2 new used tires from David yesterday. Coulda put them on yesterday afternoon, but i'm on vacation- don't want to over exert myself in one day. So, I went and put them on this morning, after a stop by NAPA to get new lug nuts. You can see my reflection in the fender, I'm wearing a yellow T-shirt, holding a camera. That diet i'm on is working great, eh? Still a pretty good looking unit, but sitting out in the weather is really taking a toll on the paint. I got them on pretty true and straight, but only tightened the lug nuts with a half inch drive ratchet, i'll take it down to the shop one day and jack it up on the level floor and recheck and retighten them. I also took this neat picture yesterday, but I took it without permission or authorization, so we'll just kind of keep quiet about it, ok?
  8. yes, it's closer to this- or the way this used to be anyway.
  9. who?
  10. A Mack, Euclid, and Caterpillar.
  11. neat site! http://www.roadtransporthall.com/
  12. True that, all the above- Rob even helped me diagnose the problem when my home AC went out a few years ago on the hottest day of the year. Helps everybody with everything, all you had to do was ask. Even offered to paint the hood on the mixer for free if I shipped it to him.
  13. I'll second that!
  14. yep, probably go put them on in the morning- coulda' done it today, but beins i'm on vacation I don't want to overdo it.
  15. My sentiments exactly...you're my hero and mentor now Randy....prolly shouldn't speculate, but I have a theory- Mitt Romney is about to announce Rob as his running mate.
  16. Sorry, it's been removed because it was ...well, really offensive. I can probably remember most of it, and send it in a P.M. if you want.
  17. Yessir, I bought 2 used steer tires from David, and couldn't be happier. He held the tires for me for weeks until I could get to Raleigh to pick them up. When I offered to send a check for them he said "no, wait until you look at them before you pay me". He's what you call "a class act".
  18. well, I can certainly understand why it shouldn't have been posted, but- there's that "but" again- I did put it in the VIP lounge, and I did change the names- no, actually I didn't name any names- to pertect the innocent...or was it the guilty...It was too good to keep to myself, but I have a warped sense of humor- you should see some of the captions I draw in the Sunday comics, especially the family circus. Or maybe you shouldn't. I rename it "the disfunctional family circus", and they're heavily into...ehh, never mind.
  19. Thank you Vlad.
  20. no, i've been on the back porch crying in my beer because of what Rob said- he's my hero and my mentor. But hey, thanks!Sex on the beach was pretty funny, eh? Too bad it was so offensive- but it was hilarious!
  21. oh.
  22. like this?
  23. yeah, and they're rounded like the Mack on the red one, but the vents and step under the door are the same as on the WOT IH.The red one has no IH emblem that I can see, or a bulldog either. That red one still looks way similar to the W-71, much more so than the one in Wheels of Time.
