  1. Congratulations, well done indeed!
  2. Saw this on the facebook Mack truck page. It's on the eastern shore of Virginia.
  3. I was 19 when this happened. Had this 1972 Rally Nova, 350 with the usual- bigger cam, Corvette aluminum intake, 780 Holley, headers, swapped in an M-22 Muncie instead of the original 3 speed, Hurst shifter. I had a few beers- ok, many beers- so I let my friend, who hadn't drank anything, drive. He went to pass a car, shifted it back into second, floor boarded it, and it got away from him on the wet road and went across somebody's yard and into 2 gum trees. Totaled of course. He broke his leg, I ended up with 45 stitches in my face, nobody had seatbelts on.
  4. That tank has compartments, one for coffee, one for hot chocolate, one for chicken soup, and one for Jim Beam.
  5. I was motoring along, minding my own business...and half the right lane is gone! The New River Gorge is just over the guardrail, about an 800 foot drop to the bottom...

  6. I'm not sure, but several years at least. I first noticed it when I was still driving the Peterbilt and i've been in the KW over 3 years now.
  7. That's at the top of the hill on 322 just before rt.19. I usually pull in there to sleep when I'm going to Carter Lumber in Coconut Lake.
  8. Weirton, West Virginia. I'm heading down rt. 2 to go load some coils in Follansbee. That's Steubenville, Ohio across the river. This girl was going for a jog during lunch break at Wheeling Nisshin Steel in Follansbee. Coils I loaded. This was taken in Madison Heights, Va. when I unloaded this morning. Weirton, W.V. I went back north and crossed over the bridge into Ohio and went down rt. 7. Some ships in the ocean...or perhaps some tug boats on the Ohio River.I've posted this several times before, but it might be the sharpest looking dump truck ever. Then I crossed this bridge at St. Marys back over to West Virginia.Bulldozer machine for sale on rt.2 in W.V.I was going to go across rt. 60 from Charleston, but I had to take a detour down rt.61 to Montgomery because 60 was closed because of a rock slide. Rt. 61 was half as wide as twice as crooked as rt.60. Then when I got to Montgomery the bridge that goes back over to rt.60 had a 30 ton weight limit on it, and I had on over 47,000 lbs. I didn't get caught, and more important, the bridge held.Glen Ferris, rt.60. The water was high, usually there's a lot bigger waterfall there. Usually lots of people fishing there too.Chimney Corner.Just past the Hawk's Nest overlook I saw a sign that said "one lane road ahead". I figured it was for construction. Then I saw another sign- "traffic emergency,1000 feet". So I figured it must be an accident. But it was none of the above, it was just that half the right lane was gone, washed away. No evidence of any kind of repairs to be seen, just some orange barrels around the hole where the road used to be...it's only about 800 feet or so down to the bottom of the gorge though, no worries.Corvair for sale in Ansted.A dog standing in the road.An attractive female type person putting gasoline in her automobile at the Sheetz in Madison Heights.
  9. I took a lot of pictures this week...but, upon further review...I don't think any are worthy of the Pulitzer prize for photography. I saw this Superliner inside that fence. I think that's a U model down at the far end of the line, but I didn't get a picture. Got a photo of the B model on rt. 422 just east of Indiana, Pa. It's parked level, I just had the camera tilted- had to take the picture out of the passenger window. The red MH was there too, but I didn't get a picture. Then I saw a train on the horseshoe curve- Had some John Deere tractors on it. It had some engines in front. The flag is still there too. I saw a big red Mack truck in Richmond. And a nice looking Fairlane in Vera, Va. when I was on the way back to the shop. Then, on the way back up the road with another load of lumber, I saw a girl in a car. Here's another one, in case the first one was no good. I met greendash on rt. 220, just south of Fincastle. I saw him about a dozen times this week, as usual, but I only took the one picture. The wind has been blowing something fierce all week. I tried to take a picture of the wind, but that didn't work out too well. I did take one of this flag- it's huge! And it's almost sticking straight out. This was going down Powell Mountain on rt. 19- motor home towing a pickup with a motorcycle in the back. It's a wonder they didn't have a boat behind the pickup. The next day I saw snow in Conneaut Lake...snow. A dove getting a drink. ...and more snow.
  10. Now I need some of this-
  11. The first time I recall hearing of it was right here, about 6:57 PM yesterday.
  12. I missed one- I was deleting pictures off the computer and came across this one. I passed a convoy of trucks like this going south on 79 Friday. I don't know what they do, but they're toting some huge engines- must have something to do with fracking.
  13. hmmmmm...kinda looks like an older Ford cab...but if I squint just the right way it sorta resembles a big horn.
  14. Yesterday...time to get grilling! More boneless/skinless chicken thighs that I marinated in Teryaki, country style ribs, and some Italion sausages I bought last week that I figured i'd better cook.

  15. Or, just send your rough draft right here to BMT- i'm sure we can help you
  16. The Yuengling is really good! ...but it didn't last long.
  17. Well thank you Mike, thank you very much!..I like boobs.
  18. I'm going to Altavista, I think there's a KFC over there, be back later.
  19. Lots of places, like tire shops and garages, used to give you those calendars with boobage on them but I can't find them any more. I even looked online- I found them, but the minimum order was for like a hundred calendars, more than I could afford. I didn't really need that many anyway.
  20. Yep, that's where I was.
  21. Funny you should say that Vlad, I did that once- these are pictures out of a photo album I have of the last curve at the bottom of the mountain coming east on rt. 60 into Rainelle, West Virginia. Many, many, trucks turned over in this curve back before I-64 was finished all the way to Beckley. This is summer- I think I was driving a Freightliner here...or was it an International...don't remember, too many Yuenglings... Fall, no doubt in the Peterbilt. Winter, in an International...I think. Spring- in the Pete. Took me a long time to get these pictures, a year or more anyway.
