  1. Solutions:

    A) Shotgun

    B) Rabbit Fence

    C) Dog

    D) Stew Pot

Any of the above should solve the problem.

    Good Luck,

    Paul VS

I have all the above, except the rabbit fence-I put string around it and tied plastic bags on it to keep the dogs out, they're too lazy to cross the fence. After I took those pictures I took the dog out there and he went one way and the rabbit went the other. Sometimes I wonder what I pay other dog (the beagle) and another dog for-that's their only job.And I couldn't shoot the old rabbit,I can just imagine a whole family of little orphaned bunnies...

  2. I wouldn't trust myself to do a project like that anyway, but i'd help you if I could. You couldn't be any harder on me than Jeff is-I tried to get him to drive the mixer one time and he said " hell no,i'm not driving that thing-if a tail light burned out 3 years from now you'd say it was because I drove it"

  3. Too bad I live so far away, I'd give you a hand with all your stuff- I used to be an excellent welder. No,really.Stick,MIG,brazing,soldering-I did it all. Last time I tried to weld something I couldn't decide which side of my bi-focals I should look through. B)

You'd probably make me do the yard work while you did the fun stuff anyway!

By the way,I got the first crate stuffed full of rabbits-what's that shipping address again? They'll be hungry when they get there too.

  4. Hate to hear about your garden, your gonna have to do those varmits like Bill Murray does on caddyshack.....anyway good pics, I wan't my smoker to be like that but I'm thinking about mounting mine on a trailer. Nice place you have there, plenty of shade I see. Have a good one buddy.

where can I get some dynamite? I saw the rabbit out there last night just before dark, under the peach tree. I think it was eating peaches that had fallen on the ground. He can have all of them he wants, but I chased him off anyway. The beans aren't dead, they'll come back if I can keep him from eating them completely up. An old 275 gallon heating oil barrell make good smokers to make on a trailer. I've seen a couple of them, one had gas burners,Roger Eagle's was charcoal with 2 5" chrome stacks on it.

That's about the whole place,I have about 3/4 of an acre, the little garden and grill is in the back yard. Note 2 CB antennas with reflector tape on them marking the driveway :D

  5. I like that oversized trailer.

Wonder what that baby would bring in scrap????

Our biggest combination can put twelve axles on the ground,

that picture looks like at least nineteen.

    "EXPENSIVE".

And, I don't think your employer would want to see the picture

of the Mack drilling rig passing you in the right lane.

    Have a good week.

...or maybe he would-I keep telling him the truck doesn't have any power and won't get out of it's own way, but Jeff doesn't seem to believe me-now i've got pictures to prove it! thanks Paul :D
  6. that was mighty nice of you Joe,i'm sure that driver appreciated it. I had a load of paneling one time with stops in Covington, Pearisburg, and Dublin,Va. Got to the last stop in Dublin a little before 5 o'clock at a Lowes store and they said "sorry,we'll get you in the morning" but one guy said "i'll unload him,it's only a partial load, and I was just gonna go home and shoot some basketball anyway". Never did forget that, and it was years ago.

  7. OK THANKS I'LL LOOK THERE BUT I THINK I GOT A PRETTY GOOD QUOTE FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY STATE FARM

I was kind of in the same boat when I first put insurance on the mixer- the only insurance I could get locally was a regular commercial policy, like I was working the truck every day.I had this the first year, then I called Gulfway Insurers. They always had an add in "Wheels of Time" and they specialize in antique vehicles and race cars. I got insurance for about half what the other policy cost, and they have no milage limit. You could check them out at www.racensur.com

  8. I agree with Paul-Lowes and Home Depot are the Schneider and J.B.Hunt of the building supply binness. I've never driven for a large national carrier, but done pretty well with a "small regional carrier", and I'm pretty sure they'd be easier to get along with...or not.

  9. It's like other dog told me, I've bought decent cars and drove them around for 2 and 300 dollars. I've bought a few for a couple hundred of bucks before, but the price of cars are getting ridiculous I think.
got another junk story-when I left Thursday with that load of lumber I was going north on 29 in Lynchburg when I heard some drivers going south talking about a load that was apparently about to fall off. One driver said "if he runs over a dead possum he's gonna lose that load". Then I saw what they were talking about-there was a small SUV,like an S10 Blazer or a BroncoII, pulling a trailer with a car on it, a bush hog on the trunk lid of the car, and a small lawn tractor sitting on top of the bush hog. They had one 2" ratchet strap thrown over the whole pile to hold it down.
  10. Instead of sleeping in the truck all of the time, have you thought of leaving the lawn mower running and just parking it under your bed at home. Or you might just have Jo shake the bed and say buddin buddin buddin buddin till you get your nap out.

I don't know, sometimes it's hard to get her to shut up now- WHAP!!! ouch!..

  11. oh...no wonder. Perhaps you should have cut it a few weeks ago. I just got a push mower, but the yard's not very big.It does have a 550 cat on it though. Or a 5.5 Briggs and Stratton,I don't remember because i'm always getting the two confused.

I've been looking for a picture of my goat,I know I have at least one,but I can't find it. His name was Dale and I had him for several years. He was a good pet, gentle as a dog. He liked to butt you sometimes, but only in a playful manner.Loved beer and cigarettes though. He'd eat cigarettes as fast as you'd hand them to him,and I poured him a beer in a bowl and he sucked it up in about 3 seconds so I poured him another one, same thing,so I poured him another one, same thing,so I figured three was enough for him and I might want one myself later. Every time he'd get loose he'd run to the front of the house and eat the flowers that were planted there. I kept him on a long tie out chain hooked to his collar with a loop on the end that I just dropped over a stake, that way he could go around in a circle without getting tangled up.When he ate everything in that spot i'd just move the stake to a different spot.

  12. Glad to hear you found another job Joe,hope you like it and it works out well for you. Do you get to pack a piece?..anyway,I don't know this "other dog" but i've heard he was a fine fellow, and a good role model. You heard anything?

p.s.-as Paul Van Scott would say "yeah-way off". What kind of truck are you delivering in,if any? If they gave you a wheelbarrow i'd quit.

  13. I know where a B-61 is just sitting in a field, waiting for you to rescue it.Probably wouldn't take much to get 'er going again... be glad to check into it further for you if you want...think about it,green with pink fenders,Paul Van Scott on the doors, hauling the B-67 to shows with it-the possibilities are endless!

  14. :( I'm gonna miss her too,she was a good dog-maybe she'll run away again and come back.

I told Todd I was gonna quit too.He said "why, because we're cutting the trucks back?" I said "naw, because I don't like the boss",and he said "I don't blame 'ya,I don't like that s.o.b. either" and looked straight at Jeff.

I just got in from mowing my grass. I worked on it for about 4 hours. That's pretty funny James.

4 hours?!! how much yard have you got, about 18 acres? You should get a goat or twelve to help you out.
