I would mail you one of the pork chops I cooked on the grill yesterday, but it would be 3 days old by the time it got there.
I always use a big hammer and a chisel to cut the top out of a barrel-power tools are too dangerous. Besides,I don't have a grinder anyway.

I like the 379 I drive, especially when that Cat runs like it's supposed to. I don't have a TV in it,I bought a cheap one with a 5'' screen once but leave it at home. Usually when the wheels stop turning I go to sleep. I sure do like the refrigerator though,it saves me a lot of money on food. It's parked out here in the driveway now,and it could use a good interior cleaning too,so maybe when you get done with yours...

I THINK I relocated most of the pictures on the computer but I have no idea why they disappeared from HP photosmart, where they were all in one convenient place. We should know better than to fool with computers.Go to the neighbor's and see if you can borrow an eight year old kid.
Let him do it.

I talked to ma on the phone Friday and she said her TV remote quit working so she bought a universal remote, followed the directions to program it and still all it would do was turn the TV on and off. We bought one once and that's all I could get it to do .Couldn't change channels or volume at all. She said my sister Lucy and nephew Michael came over and Michael had both of hers working and doing everything in a few seconds.

You learn something new every day-i'd have thought a baby consignment sale was where you bought babies!
And the nerve of that b...! It's still yours and she hit it,what it looks like doesn't matter. You should have rolled out the door onto the parking lot complaining about the pain in your neck and your back-I bet she wouldn't have thought that was so funny! I can't drive a big truck either. Jeff told me to drive his pickup-a Ford F-250- to the bank one day and I told him I couldn't drive a 102 wide,it was too big for the drive-thru window. It's not really, but I was afraid i'd knock the mirrors off of it.

No Paul,I don't have any idea about either one.It is a pretty solid looking old truck, has a big winch on it too.The keys were in the switch though. I just talked to the woman who answered the door, didn't see anyone else around.I'll try to find out if you want me to look into it.Tom,That looks like a pretty good B-61.
Any idea if it will run? Or what it might be bought for?

Great, thanks for the warningHey Joe & Amber, and Parker, and Paxton (I didn't know who came first,so I just put'em in alphabetical order )-I'm glad you finally checked in,saved me a trip to Tennesee to see what had happened to you. Hope something turns up for you soon. I've never run a bulldozer, but if it's like riding a bicycle they say you never forget!...bulldozer-bicycle.....well,they both start with a "b" anyway. Only thing is,if the bulldozer breaks down you probably won't be able to push it home.I about forgot how to type..lol. It would suck having to push a bulldozer. It's like I told Amber about the ford, if I wanted to go on a long trip I would have to leave 4 days early take naps occasionally just from the slow ride. A dozer is slower, bouncier, but you can't get to bored though. I talked to a driver recruiting place also so I might see you out on the road soon.

thanks James, not much weekend left,i'm fixing to go to work nowGlad to see that you made your round OK. I don't know about that u-tube business, although I wouldn't mind learning how. I've got a lot going on this am. Have a good week end, whats left of it. James -
so...uh...what's your mother in law look like? That's something I was gonna do today, but the barber shop was closed...looks good though.P.S. My mother in law is setting right beside me and says your a good lookin' man!!!!

hey Joe,'sup? I know you've been here, why are you maintaining the low profile? I won't tell anybody

somewhere around 300,000 I think No,really I don't know-probably about 120.Some run way more than I do,some a lot less.I'm always impressed, too.Your weeks seem to end up as productive and organized trip logs -
even though I know it can't really be all that smooth!
And I know that the company has to be happy.
I'm curious - about how many miles do you average per year?

yes,it was a good one...where'd that Ryan Newman come from anyway? I was glad to see Kyle Busch not win-I know he was on a mission to show Rick Hendrick how wrong he was,and he might have all the talent in the world, and I realize he's just 22,but that attitude...but he's just 22. I'm wondering what's gonna happen the first time he wrecks his teammate Tony Stewart, and as my mama used to say, Tony "stomps a mud puddle in him, then stomps it dry"...should be interesting. It was a good race at Daytona.Hope you got to watch it.
As much as I don't care for it - Toyota is going to change the face of NASCAR.
And the new cars have some really good handling characteristics that will make them
a lot safer and faster.
Should be a really good couple of years for the superspeedways.
The short tracks are still a bit unknown for the new cars.

sounds like you've got things coming your way Paul. And it's always good to see old iron still working. Jeff Moore is always telling me I should take that mixer off and put a flatbed on my truck, but I wouldn't have enough work for it to make it worthwhile to put the insurance on it and pay the taxes on it. Besides,I always tell him the mixer gives the truck "character"-you see lots of b-model flatbeds at shows, but i've never seen another mixer.

I am always impressed with how much you get done each week. This week was a short week too.
Thanks Bollweevil,I should send this on to Jeff and Todd-to hear them tell it i'm a lazy bum who never does anything ( I know they're just kidding!)

I haven't thought of Geritol in years, but since you mentioned it, it brought to mind a story that one of my old friends told me long ago. It seems that Geritol was quite popular in the hill country of Tennessee. A lot of folks would use the empty bottles for a window prop. Now the way the story goes, a fellow had walked out onto the front porch of his hillside farm house with a bottle of Geritol in his hand. After taking a large swallow he was trying to set the bottle on the porch rail, and missed the rail. Wouldn't you know it , the bottle hit the ground and burst. Ever alert, one of the man's big red roosters ran over and began pecking at the liquid. My friend swore that before the fellow could walk down off the porch and stop him, that rooster topped every hen in the yard, and four rows of cabbage.
I haven't really thought of it either, but if the rooster could do all that... wonder if you can still get it?

hey Joe- where are you, if anywhere?..talk about otherdog going m.i.a.
-
yeah, right Paul,-oh..."Dale"'s coming on now on CMT,gotta go.
-
Sounds like a pretty good week, in spite of the weather!
Those icy, slippery streets not made for big trucks can get plenty exciting.
Especially for us old folks.
Paul VS
yeah, not too bad.I get up in the morning and take a shot of geritol, then i'm good to go 'til nap time!

don't know, but they called and said it was ready to go.Home time at last huh' buddy. I never thought those 475/550 cat motors was worth a crap. Are they gonna replace just the one turbo or both? Have fun this week, Joe. -
Yes-now you know "the rest of the story"-Paul Harvey.... ...good day!

I seen that you had posted that before, but was just curious. I talked to Bollwevil earlier and man he's a cool guy, very knowledgable about trucks. He told me about when he picked up his R700 in oregon. He's putting a dump bed on it and going back to work with it.
yeah,he just looks like he would be the kind of guy you could stand around and talk to all day and never get tired of it. I looked at his gallery though and wondered if there had been an explosion- he has lot's of unconnected parts that look like they are supposed to be connected. What's up with that Bollweevil?

I noticed it has the windows in the sleeper. I always leave the curtain down on the passenger side,if you have to blind side back that window comes in real handy sometimes. You can use the power mirror at first, then when you get jacked around too far you can look through the sleeper window and see the back of the trailer. Real nice.
