  1. I agree that its easier to pull loads with a pickup more comfy and more power, but the b is prob alot more fun and doesnt blend in like the ps
  2. I agree with krismoriah on you need your truck to be different and stand out that way you get reckonized and remembered. I do think that for freelancing your best off with a steel bed (although theres nothing like a polished alu body or the old ravens swirl pattern) to haul sand and blacktop one day and riprap the next. Id say tri or quad would be the way to go, quint axle is going to be too long a truck to not have a deadicated account where your running all highway miles
  3. Ya the off a AC funny they had to put the trucks drive wheels on the front and steers on the back
  4. Im not sure either other than a new stack, and unless its got 10 new tubless tires thats a awful big jump
  5. I saw the one stick and i see a wet line. Looks like it has a odd fifth wheel setup. Hyd lift plate maybe?
  6. Jerry, im still interested in that 66 R and the lil single axle dump trailer
  7. Well sence ive got my b model im going to be selling my cornbinder. Its a 78 has a great running super 250 cummins and a 10spd. Has good shape floats in the front 22.5's and 10x20's in the back. Rears are mismatch but good tread. Has a 10'dump bed which opperates fine bed is older and has been patched and doent leak. Cab is in good shape as are the doors. Padded door panels are not the best, was going to make some out of aluminum diamond plate but havent got arount to it yet. It has new batterys and a new cab pump and a new nos shifter tower, only thing it needs is the fuel solenoid is bad and you have to shut it off by backing the thumb screw out. I plan on getting this fixed before she finds a new home as its kind of annoying. Its a good running working truck. Ive had it for about a year and run it 2-3 days a week on average and has never let me down. Im open to offers, would really like to trade it for a mack tractor of some kind. Pm me, call or text me 304-206-8476 Eric
  8. I havent looked into it but have been told the paccar engine is a cummins painted silver, like the cat engine is a yellow maxxforce
  9. I agree mack is their own worst enemy, i know a guy who ran a ch otr and went to spec and buy a new mack. Went in and wanted like 3.70's on 40's they said no problim any rear set up you want, 18spd, they said no problim any trans you want, he wanted a cummins they said no mp is all thats available. He said but its the same frame as a volvo and it comes with a cummins correct. Thay said yes volvo's come with cummins but mackdoes not. So he thanked the salesmen, left and went and bought a paccar. Makes no sence why custom ordered trucks are outta the question? I can understand if someone wanted one truck that was speced out very odd but to narrow the trucks options to a very short list, is a great way to lose sales and drive customers away
  10. Well im looking for a tandem tractor or c&c to make into a tractor. And it would be nice to have a b,u, or r
  11. What were you gonna ask for her? Id love to get ahold of a tandem tractor. Just wish we weren't on opposite sides on the continent
  12. That would be a awsome lil tractor to get ahold of just to bad its in az
  13. Aint no way! A good friend of mine used to drive for him. Drove rd800's off road and drove a superdog on road he called him up about a month ago to see if he had any r series doors and he told him he went on a junkin spree over the summer and got rid of most of the oldder stuff. Now i havent seen what all he has left, and knowing Richard he prob scrapped the the rusted cab shells wrecked and twisted frames and blowed up motors. That super dog your talking about is a great truck had a hole knocked in one of the fuel tanks on the inside where the air pto didnt disengage and shaft came apart and went thru one of the tanks. But other than that it was a cherry truck, i was told the wind would hold you back before it would rev out
  14. Ohhh thats cool and ya if he doesnt he needs one
