I know a BMW rider who fell asleep riding to Washington state from NJ. He was somewhere through the great plains and just dosed from exhaustion. He was riding for 20 hours without a real rest. Just food gas and nature stops. He went off the road into a field woke up when tall grass was hitting him and things got bumpy. He managed to stop before he went down. He took a break so his heart rate to getting into normal zone again and quickly found a hotel.

I am not a religious man but I have to say, all this uptight bs about God in things is rediculous. If you child does want to pledge, under God, then he/she can just skip that in the pledge of allegiance. Why change it or take the pledge out for one f@&knut parent. There's a J30 in Philly with a slide in wrecker unit for sale on craigslist. All beat to heck but the first J I have seen for sale in a long time.

Mike, That GMC is still on my mind as well. I also have that B42 in CT I was interested in. I was thinking since we got this thing and a loading dock on the building next door, I can use this to buy one of the others if there's a dock we can use. Takes care of logistics of getting it home. She'll just be a little top heavy.

In the 12 years I have worked at my shop, this is only the second time we took in a big truck on trade. The first one was an International Rollback we should have kept for the shop. Today I took this in on trade. Its a 1999 International 4700 with a 24' flatbed with extension bar, overcab rack, DT466 (rebuilt 100k ago), 6+1 Transmission (replaced 35k ago), Rear rebuilt this year, Air Ride Suspension, pintle hitch with trailer brake controls, Air Ride Seat, 22.5 Wheels, 6 New tires last years, 320k miles on chassis. Last time I drove an IH was when I was working for a towing company and I drove an IH Lowpro with a 19' Jerr-Dan Rollback, 7.3L 444 engine, and 5-speed. This brought back good memories. I told the guy I am in an acoustic band with we have a stage for any occasion. Now all we need is gigs... or a parking lot.

Google "Any Video Converter" - that's the actual name. Totally free and simple to use. No water mark either. I have been using that one for a little over a year and converted at least 30 videos with it so far. Good luck and I want to see the wrecker in action.

That would be cool! As for saving money for a Mack. I am thinking of picking this one up. Getting it fixed up a bit then flipping it. I can raise Mack money that way. I already put in an offer for a F350 wrecker with a Vulcan body on the back as well. I can always use a 1 ton tow truck.

The 401 was a gas v6. It's not a v8. Those truck v6's went from 305cid all the way up to 478cid v6's. Not a bad motor. I left a message so let's see what he says. Cool thing is I think there is enough room to install a sleeper.
