  1. What I started with: As of yesterday: I bought it in Jan '02 as a daily driver and it was really nice. Once fuel got to $4/gal I parked it and sitting in the driveway it just rusted to pieces, sadly. Since I bought my '95 F150 I don't need it around anymore(for hauling stuff). Using a 67-72 pickup website I've pretty much sold most of the usable stuff. From Alberta, Ca to California is where it's going piece by piece.
  2. Happy Easter all. Heading to g/f's tomorrow for turkey(I think?). Some of her family will be there too.
  3. Wow....I thrashed in the garage all morning: Got the oil changed in the B, got the front shocks hooked back up again(what a project that was), that's for another day, worked on stripping out the ol '67 F100 pickup. Took a quick road trip with budd to pick up his clutch in Painseville, Ohio. Got back and continued working on '67 F100 getting wiring harness out of it. Soon to be loaded up and scrapped into new Hyundias. Came in to find Pale Rider on............Classic Clint eastwood. Love that movie. Have seen bit/pieces of Wyatt Earp. Love all the actors. Always enjoyed Sam Elliot too. Haven't heard from Rob. Maybe he's packing for his road trip this week? He's head'n Eastbound and down.
  4. I'll have to take new photos, as the old ones got deleted when the old forum got wiped clean. I hung it in the center of the windshield and picked air from the air horn supply line.
  5. Fred is right. If no turbo, you need to keep that muffler away from the cab. Mine droned horrible, til I put a muffler under the cab. Herb is right too! Don't really need a muffler with a turbo motor.
  6. Figg'rs.............it's dun been deleted befer I gots to reed it.
  7. My B had a buzzer, mounted under the dash, around the steering column area. Never did work, installed a more tradition Wig Wag instead. Very cool.
  8. Looks great. There has been various mounting locations I've seen in the past depending on the owner. Tom, that looks like a late model fifth wheel on there(new actually). The old Fontaines didn't have grease grooves in it, or square in shape. I think the camera angle has alot to due with the "size" in the picture.
  9. I use Photobucket, then copy/paste the link to the post. Each to a line: If you are bring the pics from your home computer then I can see why it screws it up. BACON............it's finger lick'n good..........................LOL!!!!!!
  10. Outstanding work. It's simply amazing how CLEAN the chassis is.
  11. Mine has replacement tie rods ends on it already, thought the drag link is still original rebuildable style(with leather cover). Put king pins in mine way back and everthing else is pretty tight it drives with one finger down the highway. My shock links(from shocks to axle) are completely rusty to nothing and wore out, thus the one fell off and is junk. Replacing them with 1/2" heim ends and threaded rod. Not quite factory, but since they seem to be hens teeth, it works for me today.
  12. A glasstop like a Ford Sunliner!!! Rob, when posting pictures, make sure you put each link on a separate line underneath each other. That will make the pics scroll down, instead of across and make it difficult to look at. I know you have problems sometimes with making pictures work right. Just a thought.
  13. You'll have to learn quicker Robert. These guys NEVER mean much of anything they say on here Pick up your mud bucket and throw quicker.......
  14. Welcome to the dog pound AJ. Watch out for the shady characters running around this place. There nutt'n but T-r-o-u-b-l-e
  15. Oh Gawd................ You're all in trouble now!!!
  16. Love to make Jerry's show one of these years. But, man, that's a long haul to bobtail the ol B. Did it once years ago, haven't looked forward to it again
  17. Welcome to the board Robert. Lots of good reading and pics here. Have fun.
  18. I got some left over Tbar seats sitting at the house Greg. More then welcome to pick thru them and take what you need. Not sure if there is enough for two good ones? I used what I needed and left the rest sit. My g/f always says "my list of importance": the race car, the blue truck, the blower car, the Mack.....THEN her LOL!! I give her crap all the time, so she always tries to give it back.
  19. Dang Greg, sorry, forgot all about ya. My bad. We'll play it by ear as to the weather condition that day. Off Pontius? I know that general area.
  20. For whatever reason, my B had center type mounts on it? Maybe someone changed it years ago, but took my roto's off and 30/30's fit right with lots of room. Talk about stop-on-a-dime brakes!
  21. I did mine a few times. Back when I had it rebuilt, then again couple years ago when one of the brass fitting cracked and started to leak coolant. GAWD, what a disaster that was. Put it on/off a few times trying to get the new fitting to fit in the area the old one was. Wouldn't go into pump far enough, had to take it out and retap the pump farther so it coule go in and clear everything. It had to clock in a certain position, so had to be care tapping it as to not go too far and have it not stop right. Man....leaning over that fender, going underneath, leaning over fender, repeat, repeat, repeat. Surely hope I never had to do that again. Oh, ya, forgot I turned the pump shaft just slightly as i was wrestling with it. That screwed up the alignment and then it wouldn't go back on motor. Drop it out, turn just slightly, re-try. Drop, turn, retry....repeat, repeat, repeat. Dam, can you tell it was a biotch.
  22. You smooth talker....................Rap master Mike. Rob, just get her a firetruck cab with no roof. Presto-chango convertible. Then get some alum. tubing, green tarp and duct tape, presto-chango a roof I have a buddy that takes his Mini down to the Dragon every year. Sounds like a cool trip, though could wear your azz out too. Imagine running a B model LOL!!
  23. That's FUNNY!!!! Actually if you think back, that bumper looks like a std issue A-car unit. Don't it? I think so, as the had that double bump look to them. Like to have one of them thar sherts meself.
  24. ,............or a lemon...............................
  25. No, the NEO chapter doesn't have any shows. I'm a member of both groups, though never get down to BVH meetings as they have them in the middle of the week and can't get to Columbus area then. The NEO has Sunday meeting, I go to them regularly. We are having get together at Lakeside Sand/gravel on April 26th. It's in Mantua area, Larry Kotkowski(owner) is a member, has big show each year with antique machinery moving dirt, our club with trucks, ALOT of food(free). Really neat day, I'll be taking the B model, Bill Peters from Orville likely taking his KW(not sure yet). If you want to go, let me know. I'm familiar with Jackson township, I live up by Kames sporting goods, off Cleveland Ave. If you need welding/fab work done, let me know as I have a buddy works at a shop and does awesosme work. He lives in Jackon township.
