  1. I haven't seen many (or any) tricked out Bison/Generals, which would explain why I kinda like that one.
  2. I'll second that. The only time i've seen that was when the Power Divider was LOcked. Hopefully the solution is just a flip of the switch. Have you put on many miles while it's been on?
  3. Your taller than I am and I felt a bit cramped in a green dash R model, although a newer steering wheel will do wonders for belly room if you have power steering. The later R cabs are galvanized but I'm not sure what year that started.
  4. An F model 2-fer. Something you don't see every day. The Fruehauf trailer on the left could be a mid-70's vintage. The Strick looks like an oldie, too.
  5. I read somewhere that the owner swapped that engine out for a 6-71. I think it was here: http://www.theonion.com/
  6. Very nice. The blue and green B models are dressed up perfectly.
  7. Uh-oh. Another location themed picture thread has been started. We're gonna need more likes!
  8. Don't flashback too far, she was a youngin'. Then again, you prolly were too at the time.
  9. Nice find. You cleaned them up pretty good without compromising the the original finish.
  10. That's an interesting setup. I assumed it was in the tranny but this explains why it needed the seperate control.
  11. Cool. When I was 8 years old I wouldn't have had a doubt about the year. The old me was thinkin' it could've been a '67.
  12. That's quite a coincidence that the goo the young Kettering girl spews all over the Priest happens to be GREEN.
  13. Be a man. Have another beer and go for it. Thank goodness for that. I'd never be able to stay awake if I had to do twice as many strokes. Nice fleet, Miss ECD. The Chevelle-a '66?
  14. Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He accomplished quite a lot in what today would be considered a short life.
  15. I can't see the stub on the column, but can it be assumed it was a "3 on the tree"? If so, was the overdrive engaged by a pull handle under the dash?
  16. I say the red one is a '73-'74. I know for a fact the truck below is one of those years because I remember when it was new.
  17. Thanks for posting this. I've seen the pictures of the Cole's truck but you added some details I was unaware of.
  18. $1800. What a steal deal!
  19. Damn, that was a nice find! Kudo's (whatever they are) to you for keeping it as original as possible.
  20. I remember Winnie Cooper too!
  21. Thanks! That's what I was looking for. As a driver it's sometimes difficult to get detailed info such as this, it all depends on who you ask. A few of us have had the engine shut down while on a long, steep incline on a poorly lit interstate. It's good to see that our shop is following factory recommendations and is also addressing the issue. We've had a few trucks in the shop for sensors but not enough time has passed to see if the problem was solved for the long term. Thanks again.
  22. My jaw will drop if you can get from NTC to Watt's in 15 minutes. Hammer down! I'm thinking closer to 25-30 minutes, still not bad.
  23. KW changed the style of the doors a few years before the 3408 came out. That's not saying a 3408 didn't eventually find it's way in there.
  24. Very nice. Are used Viking t-bars hard to find? There must've been a gazillion of those made.
  25. Nice re-discovery. I remember the pic of the white Mini Cooper.
