  1. Yeah, and when it says 11-15 lbs on the box, they mean it! They will not hold any more!
  2. I did not see that coming.
  3. Moorefield to Baker is the only stretch I've been on. The first time I ran it was around '01 but I don't remember how much, if any, 4-lane I ran heading east from Moorefield. The last time I was in the area, it wasn't open west of 220. Heading down the same path? He's blazing the trail!
  4. I saw what I thought to be paint brush splatter on the bumper and thought...naw, couldn't be. Then I noticed the windshield gasket. Doesn't appear to be any white rust.
  5. I would run 259 up to RT 50 when heading to Winchester. I think that was when there was less 4-lane than there is now. Nice little restaurant with truck parking in Wardensville. It's on the right (when heading east) just before 259 cuts off to the left.
  6. I neglected to mention that these are company trucks and drivers are forbidden to add, remove, or change anything mechanical. Thanks for the tips, though. Ken, thanks for the link. I'll find out the brand since I see the 1030 is only approved for certain brands. The shutdowns seem to occur when oil is broken-in but far from being due for a change. I rarely drive a Pinnacle but it's happened to me twice. Pressure sensors have been changed on a few but not enough time has passed to confirm that the problem has been solved.
  7. They do look tasty all dressed up. I used to take a sip of beer whenever it was time to turn the meat. I had a rotisserie.
  8. My Dad's '64 Country Squire had a 289 so it wasn't quite as fast and didn't sound nearly as cool. I like how the much of the stock interior is intact and in excellent condition.
  9. A real-life criminal and a rock star. The casting director for that show was a genius. Looks like they have a souvenir head on the bar.
  10. We've had a problem with a few of the MP7's in our Pinnacles losing oil pressure and shutting down on long pulls. The shop says it faulty sensors but some of us know-it-all truck drivers think it may have something to do with using a lower viscosity oil. Does anyone know if 10W30 is acceptable in these engines? Most of these trucks run 24/5 doing pick up and delivery work during the day and running the road at night. It's not vocational work by any means but the trucks do get a pretty good daily workout.
  11. Welcome! Nice truck, we dig spokes around here. Don't wait to long to show your ignorance if you want to fit in. Bada-Bing!
  12. If that's north than I'd like a view looking east. I enjoy waking up to see the crack of Dawn....and Ashley....and Lisa.......
  13. Looking good. Don't worry about your bath, all eyes will be on the truck.
  14. Congratulations! Handsome young man you got there.
  15. If the fenders were any shinier I'd be able to tell what color hair you have.
  16. Reduced bin pork: "The other gray meat".
  17. They're really coming along with the four-lanes in that area. No one wants to see the beautiful countryside spoiled by a major highway, but those roads needed to be built. Still some amazing views. Was the motorcycle wreck on 220 between Petersburg and Moorefield? I know it could be one of a 1000 locations, but that's what it reminds me of. Damn, I miss running down there (in nice weather). Like the chicken. Love the goats. How much sandy coastline is there in Winfall?
  18. If the trend continues, next year's show will be bigger and better than this year's. Take care of yourself.
  19. Nice catch. The truck driver may have been shaken up but at least he won't have to prove his innocence.
  20. I think it looks much better than the T2000. That was the ugliest Pacaar product I'd ever seen. I saw a daycab tractor version of the T880 recently. It had a long wheelbase, no roof faring (pulluing a van trailer), and no visor. That was one nasty looking beast.
  21. Yeah it starts out nice and easy, but just one there's thing: They never ever do nothin' nice and easy. They always do it nice and rough.
