  3. Yes can put 12 volt starter and do away with S/P.I put ais volt starter off a J series Cummins and used a solinod off a gas engine which was mounted on fire wall .You can get one with solinod mounted on starter. Any rebuild shop that does gen,and starters can help you out.Bob
  4. Was Roy the fellow that had the LT log truck at Reno in 01.Beauty of a truck.I was there all three days .Loved it.Had mine in Portland in'92 and in Spokane in'95.Drove it to both shows.Over 1000 miles return trips.Would like to see it up our way someday.Seattle again or Vancouver B.C.Bob

  7. KIDNV: tag would be on jump seat or right frame rail between rear front spring hanger and hose for front brakes.Very much appreciated.I have a picture of the truck when it was at Southwest Kenworth in Sparks Nev.Love LTL'S
  8. Jason:If you can take the pedal off and the rubber boot and spray wd-40 on plunger then let it sit for a couple of days.T he punger is made of aluminum and corrods against the steel bore. You might have too spray it acouple of times or more.If you can get peddle right out then take top part apart and try and get plunger out.Thats what usually happens to them due to water.Bob

  10. i found when i started out was to buy tools as you need them.ie:don't go out and buy a big 3/4 drive because half the sockets you never use.find out what you need then shop around.same as big combinations, some of mine have only been used a few times.if you need to borrow wrench from someone you more than likly need it so buy one of your own.Bob
