I noticed a spot on the ground in the carport today when I backed the Zinamobile out. I turned it around in the driveway for her, but she drove it to Appomattox.

It appears to be the fuel pump leaking. The fitting wasn't leaking, or the hose on the intake side, and it's just barely leaking enough to feel wet on the bottom, but I guess I'll put a fuel pump on it. I don't have much confidence in the parts you get nowadays but I'm going to get one. It's either that or just put an electric fuel pump on it and be done with it.

todays parts scare me too.  I put a distributor in my Chevy van a few months ago. The choices were many, the country of origin,,, not so much.  I think I paid $60.00 for it. so far... it runs great.

I put several heater control valves on the Ford Ranger pickup I used to have. I got one from NAPA- made in China, it leaked from the start. I got another one from O'Reilly's, made in China, leaked from the start. Went to the Ford place and got a Motorcraft part, and that finally took care of it.

I sure hope it lasts a long time..  The effort to fix this this was up there..  It started out as a coolant leak from the left intake gasket.  I ended up doing those, coolant sensors, thermostat, valve cover gasketrs, vacuum lines, coolant hose, I.A.C., Distributor, and.....   oh yeah, the water pump...

We heard a noise around 1:30 this morning so I got up and looked around. Looked like the wind had blown the trash can over on the back porch.

An old picture I ran across from when I had the Dodge pickup.

Is that the wind with the tail and two ears or just an old photo?

The beer distributor has impressive look no argue but my highest bid would be for the Sand and Gravel.

Hope Zina enjoys the pickup and can handle manual steering. As we know desire means more than capabilities.
